Beautiful old course, Belen Mozo was on tv, still a "wow". Living in the Texas Panhandle, I love these old parkland courses.

Another wow was her playing partner today, Gabby Lopez. Really like everything about Gabby.

Jodi Hyphen has looked spectacular all week. So cool seeing her playing with Moriya yesterday. Both in black, not clashing. Dig it when they get dressed up. Adds to the big time feel of the event.

Jodi is a way above average ball striker and when she putts well for four rounds she's in the mix. Sadly, yesterday's bogey, bogey, bogey finish coupled with 33 putts just isn't going to cut it.

I've been critical of Stacy in the past, but good for her to win again and to give back. It's a shame 1st place $$ is only $195K but that's not a reflection on her by any means. Good for her and KPMG for their donations.

'Very nice win by Stacy. As she said, it's good to know she still has the capability of hitting the shots when she needs them. Good to see her get that losing streak off her back. After IK and Stacy, who's next on the long winless streak?

 

It sure felt In Gee was going to snatch this one. A few burned edges gives her another 2nd. 'Solid week, though.

 

I hope Moriya pulls through soon. I'd hate to see another player play solid, only to fade on Sunday. It's one thing to get beat by a hot player, but stumbling in the final round gets old.

 

'Sad to see Ai's last tournament in the U.S. I remember her first win on the LPGA, and her outstanding 2010 season. She'll be missed.

Wow, congratulations Stacy!

 

This is very excellent. Stacy was another victim of commentator mention-itis. When she was on screen, you knew it was just a countdown until the winless streak got mentioned. Glad for her to have this off her back. SL seems to be something of a mood-player; mood has a big impact. (or maybe it's just less hidden than others.) This could make a big lightening going forward.

 

Donating her winnings is truly great. Like I said above, something you never forget.

I could watch In Gee Chun hit golf shots all day. all dam day. She has one of the smoothest, most beautiful swings in womens golf. I thought she would pull off a late comeback, but Stacy was just a little better today. A feel good win for Lewis and also good finishes for Chun and Moriya.

 

I also agree that every time Gerina plays great golf, somebody always seems to play amazing golf i.e. Lewis and Chun today. It'd be good to see Piller get that first win, and get the monkey off her back.

 

Finally, I totally agree with PZero's post above... Why pull away from the final three holes of the LPGA tourney where In Gee Chun is making a serious run at leader Lewis, to show us the final group on course of the PGA event third round!? That's just dumb*uckery!

Stacy deserves all the credit in the world for winning, of course, but the donation as well. In Gee deserves just as much credit in the effort to track her down. She almost did it.

 

And yes folks, Stacy really can show emotion out there. She's just stoic and locked in when she's playing.
