(NO POLITICS) Nike Footwear for 2018

Any of you NorCal guys have them in-store at GolfMart? I got my white pair already at my local Roger Dunn. They wouldn't sell me the wolf grey either. Very strict one pair per customer so I ordered the wolf greys online. I'll post pics later.

 

BTW, not crazy comfortable. The sole feels lumpy walking around. Not uncomfortable but they look way nicer than they feel. For the price though it's not bad.

 

This is my immediate impression of this shoe out of the box. Maybe worn a few times and having them broken in they'll be a lot more comfortable.

I had a PM about the Flyknits vs the Zoom 90's and here are my thoughts on them:

 

- Super lightweight

- Toe box is cramped compared to the Zoom 90's.

- Heel cup is loose compared to the Zoom 90's.

 

Ultimately, I returned them because if they were not comfortable at home, I'm not going to walk 18 or 36 holes in a day in them and not hate them. It's a real shame because they are f****** gorgeous.

First version of shoes are the most comfortable shoes the Jordan golf brand has released. I've never felt like they were "lumpy". Good shoes to walk and play in.

Played 9 holes today in my AJ's. After awhile they felt a lot more comfortable. Toe box is very generous, wider than the AJ III's. Good shoe for a fair price for an AJ golf shoe. Hard to beat the Dominate Pros though at Ross for $69.99 lol.

IMO, very true to size. Although I'm a solid 10 and I tried on the 9.5s and those fit me good too. More snug but the 10s didn't feel 1/2 size too big. I think you'll be ok. If anything you can buy a liner to slip under the footbed to take up any loose space.

Man, that looks like some aggressive looking traction in the toe area! I went with 2 day shipping from NDC so I should have them tomorrow. I'm pumped! Released just in time for my round at Sahalee!

Got my AJ's today, all i can say is wow definitely look better in person. So far just walking in our home carpet, i am sure is a keeper and very comfy and softer feeling compare to my TW13 and TW15. IMO is true size, very comfy, look like I finally going to stop wearing the TW13's and 15s. Can not wait to use it on the course.

They're are not converted basketball shoes, like most of the Jordan releases, and are very comfortable to walk in while playing a round. I walk in my first STs all the time the Texas heat and have never thought I shouldn't. They fit true to size for all those who always ask should I get this or should I get that, blah blah blah...

pretty sure just water resistant. I have plenty of full waterproof shoes, use these for the dry afternoon rounds if I like them.

 

If you need comfy and waterproof, look at the Ecco Biom Hybrid 3GTX.

I'm usually first out and have no problem with the dew getting my foot wet. If it's going to rain, I just wear one of my LCVs.
