Leaving a lot of the other junk out I'll just comment on cost. Play afternoon rounds, use Golfnow, walk instead of taking a cart etc... There are plenty of ways to play reasonably priced golf, even where I live in the Philly suburbs.

That was a garbage article. As a millenial Black man, and father of a junior golfer, it's called being an adult and making a budget.

 

Sure golf is expensive, but so is every other hobby as an adult. As an example; I dabbled in cycling for a few. Carbon bike, carbon wheelset, electronic shifters, tires, brakes, etc. USPSA as well; gun, back up gun, ammo press, powder, projectiles, equipment, etc.

 

I only played once a week until my son showed interest. Then we went full in. I learned how to build clubs, I buy last year's equipment to build with, etc. My wife and I do fine financially, but we sat down and cut out a lot of things so we could get my 8 year old a membership at a local country club. Esp since his teacher is based there. Once a week lessons... guess what, we made a budget for that too.

 

It comes down to millennials acting like everything needs to be at a price THEY can afford or WANT to pay. Teach your kids how to make and live within a motherf***ing BUDGET. If you want something bad enough, you'll figure out how to get it...

I don't disagree that golf is expensive and many young people have debt, and i don't disagree that racism exists in places and should be something we try to eliminate as a society....

she's a Bernie Sanders supporter guaranteed. Entitlement society is what we are becoming. I just retired at 50 and can now afford better courses and when I find the right spot a country club membership. 25 years ago I played twilight and looked for coupons in the paper. Played in palm springs in july to play $150 courses for 45. These millennials don't want to pay their dues. It really seems white , heterosexual males are under attack these days.

The generation of 50-somethings who criticize millennials are usually the ones laying them off from companies after a down quarter to keep the share pricing from dropping half a penny, and then asking why kids today lack good old fashioned loyalty....

 

Millennials have less job security than their predecessors and more university debt. They probably are paying their dues in their own way

I'm fairly certain I'm the outlier here, but I think she looks pretty damn good in that bathing suit. I dont like stick figures. When I put my hands on a woman, I dont want to feel bones.

 

That being said, her article kills anything and everything as far as her being attractive as a person. She sounds like a whiney, entitled, racist idiot who doesnt know how to manage her finances.
