Nice. In what section of the store did you find this?

It was in the mens section where they keep all the random junk like body wash and random Nike weightlifting gloves and I saw a red clearance tag and luckily it was this green G/Fore HC. Score for sure. I've been checking other Marshalls/Ross stores and no luck.

I'm going to check mine out for all my SoCal friends. (SD Area). We're the Reacts at burlington too or you already own those?

Just checked the Burlington in Vista, CA. There was a pair of infinity pros, but someone beat me to it. Another pair of spikeless pumas 25 bucks. Didn’t get the price on the infinities here but I’m assuming no more than 30. I’m hoping that they’re slowly starting to make it back into the stores and we see larger inventories very soon.

no 270s at this Burlington. Checked out Ross also no golf shoes of any kind

Looks like a lot of Blue and White  and black 270G on EBay so the resellers are going to make it hard to find unfortunately. One dude has 7 pairs in his photo

I’ve started messaging them asking to pay Ross price when they don’t sell lol

I like how they've figured out how to remove the sharpie prices on the soles and/or dont photo it in their listings like we dont know they paid $29.99 or where they got it all from.

I call them my personal shoppers and I lowball them all until one finally gives in. I usually get Ross/Burlington drops that I cant find or am too busy to go look for like $45 shipped or so.

There are a handful of sellers on the FB groups who post photos with dozens of pairs, guessing they are getting them before they even hit the sales floor.

Ended up going back for the Pumas. They were Puma Ignite Fasten8 Spikeless all black. Looked pretty solid. Ended up being 37.99. Not bad when you compare to retail. Got them for my brother in law who is new to the sport. They only had size 10.5 & 13. Rosses are filled with Nike footwear but no Nike golf. Stores checked Burlington- Vista, CA & Oceanside, CA (Vista had the Pumas). Ross Vista CA & Oceanside, CA. Nothing. Hopefully us socal peeps get more Nike golf footwear asap.

I'm normally a big supporter of capitalism/free market, etc. but this is kind of the lowest form of it, lol.

Putting in a lot of effort to make low margins anyways. After shipping and ebay fees, what are they clearing? $10 per pair of shoes?

They should put their energy into something more wortwhile and let us enjoy the discounts 😄

1000% agree, I mean really they kinda ruin it for people who actually use it and then they have to pay taxes on that 10$ so is it really worth it?

Well $10 for one pair isnt worth it. But if you spend 1 hr and can clear $70 on 7 pairs, is it now worth it?

i mean, i would rather those that want to use them, get them (like myself) but not everyone makes $70/hr right?

It's a far cry from $70 per hour.

Factor in their time/money spent driving to the store, driving home, taking pictures, posting the item, packing the item, shipping the item, etc.

And they are lucky if they profit $70 in a day. It's probably less than that.

Then factor in the opportunity cost...they could be spending their time/money/energy on something that might actually amount to something significant.

I'm not a re-seller but to say they are making $10 a shoe seems a low estimate. I saw the infinity pros for $19.99 at Burlington. They are being sold on ebay from $59.99 to $89.99 plus many guys even charge for shipping. I wouldn't be surprised if average profits aren't closer to $20 per shoes. Very worth it for many especially when they are selling dozens of shoes daily.

i have a friend that is a dentist. Makes great money. Goes to lunch (really at a discount store/thrift shop) no more than 5 mins away. Eats his sando while checking things out. He isnt going to ross/burlington etc. but more like goodwills/salvation army etc. he more often makes more in that one hour of lunch he takes than an hour in a normal course of a days of work.

these professional resellers dont have to take much time to photo, list, etc. he has boxes at the ready (which get delivered by postal service so no time spent gathering supplies). He also has a way to print the labels, and leaves then for the postal worker to pick up (no time spent shipping really). He has a photo booth in his home office. Really, how long does it take to type in a name, address and print? I would guess the amount of time he takes for the item (lets say hypothetically 7 shoes) he found that day, would be less than 1.5hrs. Even if it were a total of two hours, thats still $35/hr

first hand knowledge of someone who makes MORE than his salary annually from ebay sales makes me certainly believe some out there are definitely making it worth it. Yes, ive seen his taxes and “receipts” so to speak. So its real.

and i believe those relationships with managers and such are definitely professional resellers and are certainly making it amount to something significant. THOSE are the folks we are up against.

now the average amateur like us, we have to hunt. And yes, id agree that the hourly wage is likely less than $70/hr. And perhaps time is better spent in something else. But the professional, its easy picking for them. Unfortunately for us…

at the end of the day, dont be so salty at their hustle, ask how can YOU beat their hustle.
