Let's resume this chat after The Masters and The Players, when ALL the big horses show up together. I'm impressed to the max with Tiger so far, and I'm not really a fan. I stood behind him half a dozen times at The Valspar and watched him pound it 300+, watched him stripe irons, chip well, and putt well. Fused back or not, his longevity is still a question he asks himself. Looks great now, nobody knows how it will hold up over the long haul. I'm pulling for him, as you can see he has the excitement back. And it IS most certainly a different Tiger. Old Tiger didn't talk, rarely smiled, wanted to bury you. New Tiger has a different aura about him....

 

I never thought I would see the day that Tiger would laugh after his ball struck the flagstick and bounced straight back and sat on the lip.

No. Tiger was 25% for his career (25.24% to be exact). That includes pre-peak Tiger and post-peak Tiger

 

In his prime, he was much higher. 1999-2000, he was 17 for 41 (41.5%) 2006-08 he was 19 for 37 (51.4%). Within those years was a 13 for 16 (81.3%) stretch.

Let's talk when Tiger isn't hitting irons off every tee because his driver/3w game is ridiculously unreliable. He had a chance to make a run and win today, then he hit driver...

 

Henrik hit two drivers, one into a bunker and one into deep right rough on a par five. What's your point?

 

Henrik can also rely on his 3w, which is good for 280 - 300 and not 250-260 like Tiger's driving iron.
