Got my standbag and it only took 2 weeks. Really happy with the quality. Will report back once I get my first round in this weekend. But over all it’s exactly what I wanted.

I’m in the market for one... but having doubts because of the synthetic leather. How’s the feel? Quality of material? I usually get rained on at least a few rounds a year and that’s my main concern.

I have a black version that has been soaked for the last 3 or 4 round in cold English wet weather but it still looks like I have just received it.

 

Although I haven't had it long enough to give a better review I have had the tour bag for a few months longer and it also looks like new after the winter use!

 

One other point on the durability, every bag I have put on my trolley has marked at the top/cuff as the trolley clamps are quite aggressive yet both of these bags show no signs of depressions forming so far, the material used feels great and seems strong

These bags are so well made the craftsmanship is outstanding I highly doubt they will wear badly. I have had mine a couple weeks and don’t see me switching anytim soon. The material to be will be easier to maintain in all conditions imo.

So the bag is great and love the 14 way dividers. They help a ton and make pulling and putting clubs back a breeze. I believe the synthetic leather will be better for rain conditions. Have not gotten it wet yet but I’ve heard good things.

Yes there are 14 but one is bigger to accommodate large grips.

Questions on the bag... does it feel heavy while being carried? Where is the magnetic rangefinder pocket? What level of waterproof would you consider the bag?

I have the white and will answer a few questions. This is not a lightweight bag but it is not overly heavy and is very comfortable to carry. I had a lightweight bag and find this more comfy to carry.

Magnetic pocket is right above ball pocket.

I have had mine in the rain a few times and it seems to be fairly water resistant. I haven’t soaked it yet so can’t tell you how it holds up to that level.

White is actually holding up pretty well. I have been trying to wipe off mud and stuff at the end of the round if any gets on. All good so far.

Anymore reviews? Strongly considering a custom players bag.

 

Biggest concern is weight and the leg issue people have discussed. I think I can get over weight (read - get the 2019 SM 2.5+ when it comes out for carrying), but the leg issue worries me a bit.

I received the bag and the material is nothing like I thought it was. I was expecting a pleather like material. Instead, the bag appears to be 100% plastic. Thin plastic at that. Those of you who have a player's bag from old stock... is that the same material yours is made of?

I have been using my Vessel standbag for a while now and have an all white one. Here is some feedback I would share.

 

Pro's

 

- I have the white and it is easy to clean, most if not all my rounds are in a cart and it can get dirty moving in and out of the cart because the back of those carts can get dirty if not cleaned on a nightly basis.

- The look is just nice, I have got tons of questions where I got it and what type of brand it is.

- It is not too busy with a bunch of different pockets. Does anyone really need tons of different pockets?

 

Con's or Con -

 

- If I walked every round I wouldn't buy this bag or recommend it to anyone. The legs are absolutely horrible, they will stick out and do not retract back in. They absolutely missed the boat on this. Love it as a cart bag as I wanted a lightweight good looking bag that I honestly only carry to the range and back or to my car and to the cart drop off.

I have the Sunday bag and love it. Although I sawed off the vertical dividers and cut out the full length sleeves.

 

My biggest complaint would be to redesign the top / opening shape of the bag to better mimic the Titleist 4UP. The button lip of the opening should be flat... otherwise. Enough pockets for me. Stand works 100% of the time and fully retracts without any dangle.

 

Regarding fabric inquiries, give them a ring and ask for a fabric sample.

I just ordered last week and received my Player's stand bag and I don't think that the material feels like plastic at all, but like a pleather material. I'm very pleased with the bag.

Not super long term, but I put about 60-70 rounds of golf, and probably 20-30 range visits with my Players 2.0 and it still looks almost new. No functional issues, and the material looks great. One of the courses I play weekly is down a dirt road, and the bag is covered in dust, a simple wipe with my golf towel and it is clean again. So like I said, not super long term, but zero complaints on the bag other than the weight (it's a bit on the heavy side).

If I didn't play one of my leagues at a course down a dirt road I would have bought the white. But the amount of dirt and dust that gets all over this bag would have destroyed a white golf bag. A simple wipe down and this one is good to go. Wish it was a tad bit lighter but overall pretty happy with it.
