I'm glad that although there are upwards of 160 issues being worked/tracked at least we've managed to ban words that have at no time, ever been considered profanity. Along with the name of golf websites that are in no way direct competitors with WRX. And ads have been fixed too.

the wiktionary page actually has it considered more vulgar in other english speaking countries. a "polite euphemism" in the US and Canada.

by the way. . .lost in the news this week that Gary Player signed a deal with PXG, he also signed with OnCore golf ball. He used it for ceremonial tee shot and to play in the par 3.

 

I have mixed feelings. I didn't actually want them to sponsor anyone, but if they did, I'm glad it's Player. i'm planning on looking just like that when I'm 83.

That's along the lines of how I feel about golf clubs. I don't necessarily know right away if something is a long term (long term - LOL) keeper, but I know real quick if it's definitely not gonna work out. If there's nothing good within the first couple shots, there's absolutely no "giving it time" to see if it'll work out.

 

I actually fired a Z-Star XV on a provisional yesterday, and even after just a short time away from it playing the V1, the feel of the XV was very off putting.

Can anyone explain what happened to Stenson on #13? Even on track- how did he go from chipping in the creek from above the hole to dropping on line of sight on his 2nd shot, which it appears to do on the track?

Hit his second up in the azaleas above the green, had to take a drop (3) , hit that one (4) back across the green into the creek. Not sure why he hit his 6th from where he did (left side of the fairway) unless there is a drop area there (it got him a much better angle at the flag).

The "Track" feature on the Masters site this year is absurdly great. I just caught up on Molinaris first 6 holes in a couple of minutes, all video/tracking included.

 

This seems like something they would/should/could charge for in the future.
