the maple leaf is the logo for NYC parks. pretty spot on logo to use. the Kith NB "central park" release made use of the logo as well.

Flip-side to this is more people may actually be able get one of the shoes since there are 5 (6 if you count the denim J’s) options. As much as I love getting limited edition stuff, I’m personally tired of starting to hit refresh at 9:59 am just to miss out on the past 7 releases.

I'm done with NDC. After giving up on the grey AM1 restocking in size 14 I went ahead and bought the black ones on the 5th. I never received a confirmation email so I reached out yesterday and they said the shoes will be shipping today (yesterday). I checked the status of the order this morning and it has been cancelled. I reached out to a chat representative and they said it is because they are out of stock in that style. Their website clearly shows every size available in the black ones. They pretty much told me to pick another style. Pretty sure I have read similar experiences on this thread but yikes.. What a mess.

 

EDIT: This must be a blessing in disguise as I ended up finding the grey AM1s in size 14 at Carl's Golfland. Ordered and calling to see if I can pick up after work.

Seems like this launch is happening more along the lines of previous Major launches. Last year they never put the shoes up on NDC prior to the actual launch, so everything about the Masters pack seems like an anomaly. Pretty sure they were already showing by this time (or had been already pulled) last month.

Has anyone been discouraged by the material of the AM1? I sent back a pair because after reading one putt the toe box looked like a crumpled piece of paper.

OMG, when I looked at the Rakutan earlier when Lesmond posted it was only 1.5%. That’s a huge jump.

 

Too bad no 71’s in 14 either color. I had size 13 previously and had to send them back. Too tight.

 

I may have to find some 4’s to wear off course with 8% on top.

TP run small and narrow.

TW71FF run true to size.

 

I wear a size 13 everything Nike. Tp 13 was way too tight. 13W was soo tight. 14 was way too long.

TW71FF fits perfectly.....like a size 13 Nike should fit.

 

Thank God I bought both colors of TW71FF's the I did......size 13 was the 1st size to sellout :)

While I agree that this can help, I'm very curious about how they will address wide feet. I'm a 9W or a 9.5. In Nike running shoes I have to go all the way up to a 10 if they dont have wide. Soooo, what are you going to do Nike? Tell a 9w to get a 10? I know they have all these algorithms, but it still doesnt change the fact that Nike makes a very limited number of shoes in wide.
