They could have actually engineered a way for them to be metallic and stay that way. They’re lazy and exploiting the market. No innovation. Could have done a clear layer of rubber on top of it to provide protection if they didn’t want to try that hard or use a plastic that was molded with color and metallic. It’s not hard

You guys are hilarious. The point here is that why the hell make a sole covered in foil? It wouldn’t have to be metal. Why not have just made them a shiny plastic. Maybe wouldn’t have been quit as shiny as the foil but would have lasted more than a damn round. No one will ever convince me that this is ok. Only thing that would have ever made this ok is that when they advertised them Nike made it abundantly clear this would happen. I have the shoes and the sticker is only on the bottom of one shoe and it’s literally the size of a dime.

I personally like the Vapor Pro over the Roshe G Tour. Roshe felt a little pinch and squeeze around the toe box. I like my feet to feel flat on the ground and the Roshe, by design, feels more like i have more weight on my toes. Just my 2¢

A friend posted a picture of his new AM1s he got from NDC UK yesterday - all black with a white swoosh. He had no idea why I got a bit excited about them - this is despite the photos on NDC showing tonal Swoosh. Come on Nike, get your s**t together please ...

I know this will be a dumb question on here but what’s new with this shoe? Hasn’t it always looked like this? I was never interested in the AM1 so I don’t know. I just looked on the Nike site and only see and only see red and blue. BTW I live that blue and may order.

The original release did not have the black swoosh and logo on the back. It was all white. The tour guys have always had the contrasting swoosh.

Not that hilarious. If I had sent shoes back I would have lost $200. Again not that hilarious. Nike doesn’t have me anywhere. I own a ton of golf shoes and only 3 pair are Nike’s. I just like cool shoes period and as cool as these look brand new they would look average with clear soles after the foil peeled off.
