Does anyone know if the new TW71's are going to be released with normal shoe laces or are these a FastFit only shoe? Anyone find it odd that Tiger is still wearing the "old" TW71's and not the current style? Will there be an actual TW19 or do we think this is it for the TW shoes this season?

Ok here’s another Tour Premier sizing question again.

 

I see that most people who bought the TP sized up a half size.

 

I usually wear a 11W but i noticed that 11.5M fits better with the designs lately.

So knowing that would a 12M in the TP be a better fit?

Have not tried the Tour Victory but I can say the Ecco is more comfortable than any Nike golf shoe I have owned.

Never tried the Rory shoe but almost went TW71 FF or the vapor react 2 but ended up going BOA biom hybrid 3 and loving them so far.

I actually want to (not available in Oz) but i have a high instep and wide foot. From everything I read they are a b***h to put on and I hate that.

 

Have the TW71 FF on order in wide, hopefully they work out.

It seems a hotly debated topic. FWIW, I went with the same size as normal, and I'm happy with them after a year of play. They are just a snug shoe to get your foot into, but then it's great...no toe jamming etc. for me.

Man I just paid big bucks for a pair of the Jordan XI’s like this. Are they the same soles? If mine do this I’m going to lose it. How could Nike think this is acceptable? There’s no way in earth anyone would think that looks ok not even if it did that after 20 rounds.

Um, on the shoes it visibly says “The foil will tear off with use”. It’s tin foil. It’s for looks when new. The soles are actually clear bottoms. They just put the foil over it to “look cool” when they are new or on display.

 

The LeBron’s I won in one of their draws, when it got to me, I saw the LeBron logo on the bottom was all foil. I didn’t even put them on because any weight will likely crinkle the foil and I couldn’t sell them as new then. So I didn’t even try them on before I flipped them.

Um, it's not about the disclaimer or not. It's more about the expectation of a high quality product being produced and distributed by Nike.

What makes them not high quality? Anyone expecting tin foil to stay in same condition has unreasonable expectations.

Probably the fact they used tin foil. Find another way.

It’s a show piece and not really part of the design per se. It looks cool on display and in pics and not meant to be permanent. The fact they tell you it will fall off indicates they didn’t design it to last
