Yea the Synthetic upper can be painted, just has to be carefully prepped so it last and the paint doesnt chip.

 

This weekend I'll get my pair done. debating on what colors to use still, but I think I am going to paint the Swoosh / sock liner / and midsole.

AM1 are going to be the perfect range shoe. Everything else is meh so I’ll stick to G4 and FJ for on course, but AM1 is fantastic.

Im hoping they will be much more than just a range shoe. I really want them to be comfortable and fit my foot well because I'm planing on them being my main spikeless shoe this year

This is the process I used for the swoosh.

 

-Acetone (to take off the factory finish)

-3 light coats of Adhesion Protmoter

- 5-6 light coats of paint

-2 light coats of Angelus finisher

-2 coats of Kyrlon Matte Finisher

 

Once I’ve completed the shoes I’ll add a list of all the supplies I use and the process for each part of the shoes I paint.
