Low/low 95g driving iron shaft

I’m looking for some suggestions for a low/low driving iron shaft. It will only be used of the tee. Thanks!

recoil makes a good driving iron shaft. I forget the model number but it's an option on the new Callaway x forged driving iron if you wanted to check there.

95g. is a hard weight to find for hybrid/driving iron shafts. There are plenty of graphite iron shafts in that weight by UST, Aerotech, Fujikura, etc... If you are willing to go to 105g, you might be able to find a Black Tie 105 pull.

Fujikura Atmos Black Tour Spec HB, it's .370 hybrid tip but pretty sure I've seen a couple people sand them down to put them in driving irons. Easy to load but extremely stable and definitely LOW/LOW.

I'd say HZRDUS Black and Tensei Pro White are going to be your best bets on the stiff tip low launching spectrum.

Agree with Albatross85 above, KBS Hybrid Proto - while a fantastic shaft - is not low/low. I use it in my longest standard iron as its higher launching than my C-Tapers.

 

Would second the Hzrdus Black and Tensei White hybrids and also throw in the Oban Kiyoshi White which comes in a 95g option.

That's exactly what I did. It's sort of a 3.5 iron now - slightly strong 4 iron head (23*) playing on a 3 iron length KBS Proto 95x. It sits well between my 5 iron and 2 hybrid - which I have shafted with the Oban I mentioned above.

Speeder 9.2 tour spec is low/low and 95g. A little bit dated but can be found. Atmos Black if you want something newer.

Black Tie HM3 comes in 95g. For iron shafts, I've heard the Fuji Pro 95i Tour Spec is low/low, or at least very flat hitting. I have the Tensei Pro White 90 in my hybrid and love it. My personal favorite is the old Project X HB6 which also came in .355 taper tip. SteelFiber i95 isn't as low hitting as others but if you hard step it, it'll hit lower. A cheap experiment would be the UST Elements Earth/Terra 100.

I would skip the hybrid shafts and go Aerotech i95, Accra 95 cwt or 100i Tour, Ust Recoil 95 proto, or Fuji Pro 95 TS

Nobody said it but an ADDI 95 or 105x if you tip it a smidge is as low low as I can imagine you wanting. I mean I can hit it high if I want to. But I can hit it as a low bullet In a 816 h2 21 degree hybrid. Lower than that spike have to be steel of some make.

Project X Tour Issue Hybrid (the BLUE)

 

HB6 - 97 grams flex 7.0

HC1 - 95 grams flex 6.5

HD2 - 92 grams flex 6.0

 

This shafts can be hard or soft stepped to get wgt and flex right, and is the best LOW/LOW shafts ive been working on for both hybrids and driving irons, and since its discontinued now, it can be found as bargains.

 

i use the HE6 - 85 grams 5.5 flex in my 2 hybrids (H5/27* and H4/24*) smooth and stable

Aldila Rip Tour iron shafts are pretty low/low form my experience, and are roughly $40 shipped to your door.

Recently tried the older Aldila NV 105x hybrid. Plays really nice, low low but still has a decent feel and kick. I think they come in 95 and can be had real cheap if your looking for a budget build.
