Aldila 2019 ATX Tour Prototype Graphene Line shafts....Info, Photos, + Trackman Data

The Synergy is going to be a very hard shaft to beat which is typical of Aldila. They tend to release a really good product once every couple years and then the subsequent releases have a hard time dethroning a little older product. It seems like they're getting back to their roots a little with this in that they are doing a refresh of an old favorite. The hard sell is going to be the price tag for this one if they bring these to retail above $300.

They are different shafts. The atx blue would he closest in feel to Synergy Blue but, I think, a bit more stable than the Synergy Blue. The blue is the one released retail and honestly isn't really even in the same category as Synergy Black. They are for two different types of players.

Were the 2KXV shafts updates on the Tour and these are next generation?

From what I know and have learned these are the tour green/blue (including ATX) replacements, with updated materials including graphene and tech from synergy -

 

If you liked those profiles, these should be right up your alley for 2019. Once I hit them I'll know personally more for sure where they fit into the aldila lineup and will post a large review of them.

 

If u guys have questions afterwards, including comparisons, I'd be happy to help.

my guess is this --

 

it will be a bit of a blend -- but will have a mid-stiff butt flex, a smoother midsection with a high to mid kickpoint (for launch) and rather stiff tip for lower spin.

It's somewhat unique. Launch is fairly high but spin is fairly low. I'll run a comparison with the Tensei pro line shortly and start up a thread on it.
