1899, basically 2G’s. That’s a lot of cash

When the 681T were released way back in 2000-01, they retailed for $2K and they weren't even the heads Tiger was actually using. By that measure, the P-7TW would be a decent deal if they are $1899. :D

TaylorMade Stealth2 Plus 9.0, Ventus Black 6X, 45.5"

TaylorMade Stealth2 Plus 4 (16.5), HZRDUS Smoke Blue RDX 6.5 70g, 42.5"

Meh, I don't want them now...

What did you expect the price to be? There's no way it was ever going to be under $1500. TM pays TW a load of money, and the only way to recoup some of those costs is to charge a premium for a premium product.

Titleist TSR3 8° Tensei Pro Orange 1K 60TX

$1899 would be cheap for a TW set, I have a feeling they will be more. I just hope this is not a LE grab...

I know they will have to be more than the 730 @ 1400 but if they came in at 16-1700 I think that’s reasonable since I doubt it would be anything but a limited run.

I think they will be $1999. I hope I am wrong on the high side..

I agree I think they’ll be 2k

Hummmm. Price them a few hundred more than the 730 and try to sell lots of them, or price them really high as a special edition and expect to only sell them to the hardcore Tiger fans that also happen to be blade users??

Interesting dilemma for the TM marketing guys. Not many people play blades. How many can you really expect to sell? High Volume in retail is generally always the goal but maybe not in this case.

Thinking long term, Tiger will likely never change irons for the rest of his career now that he is happy with these and on a long term TM contract. Perhaps you go with a luxury price point and expect to sell just a modest number of them for many years.

TM is due for a new blade. I would think it wise to make these “the” blade in the line. I can’t imagine Rory, DJ, etc would have any issue playing TM branded clubs. They were/are his idle and they’re all buddies these days...

Look at the NBA....half the league plays Kobe, LeBron or Jordan brand sneakers....

Make them available to the masses. I would buy a set for sure to use on special occasions, sim golf, a quick nine with the kids. I’m not good enough for blades but a lot can be learned about proper ball striking from hitting blades. I grew up playing Spaulding Executives that coukd open a well sealed envelope. Taught me a lot.

Come on, TM, let’s us all have them if we want!

I think you guys are right but I’m hoping for my figure and TM decides not to make it a limited run

Hopefully they are forged. And hopefully he doesn’t switch out of them to something else and TM is late to the party like the Ardmore TW version

I think you have this backwards... He was/is they're idol.

Cota is right, he very well may be out of these and into something new by the summer.
