If they are a “full bore” release expect the price to be like the P730’s.

Might be a painfully obvious point....but, blades are released less rarely, typically....I don't know how long ago the 730s dropped, but, could TM just make this the new blade (that all the staffers use, DJ, Rory, etc). I mean, with TW much more "one of the guys" nowI don't see anyone having an ego issue about having TW stamped on their irons. It certainly didn't/doesn't stop guys in the NBA from wearing LeBrons, Kobes, Jordans, etc.

 

Most of these guys freely admit that TW was their hero growing up. And, it's just a name. If this is THE new TM blade, could this end up in a lot of bags?

Based on the reactions I've seen here and other places, it seems like they're doing exactly the right thing. There's nothing wrong with building a little anticipation and excitement in your customer base.

 

Besides, what if TW never actually puts these in the bag? Why would TM still release them in that scenario? Better to wait and use that as momentum for your product release than just blindly throw something out there and hope.

I had no expectation that they would make them in lefty, especially being as limited as I expect they will be - they would have to make dies for the left handed heads.

I'm with you buddy! So weird to see how fluid he is with gear these days after years of staying in clubs 3-5 years after their release cycle!

 

I know this is an iron thread, but, I'm VERY curious to see if the DF is in the driver.....or.....will it be a D+ painted like a DF. I noticed recently that MRC seems to be taking a lot of shafts off their website..... so, if the D+ goes out of production, they'd want TW showing off the DF....
