Which irons have you played the longest?

King Cobra SS oversized, played since 2004. 15 year anniversary this month actually. If i put new clubs in the bag, I have to be able to justify it with actual strokes gained. I can't do it. Irons are irons. and i secretly love beating players with nice clubs with these ugly a** shovels that i bought off ebay for $125.

Fantastic! I still have an SS427 driver in 9* I used to bomb. Might still if I had a grip on it.

Titleist 714 MB's from fall of 2013 to now. I'm currently experimenting with the latest, greatest offerings from Titleist to see if I need a little more forgiveness.

Wow, do I feel old.

Ram Laser FX Forged Cavity Back irons I bought from a mini tour player the year they came out. 1990? Until I gave them away last month.

1-SW

I tried countless irons in the mean time but always went back nothing matched the feel even if the sweet spot was so close to the hosel it left little room for error. Lol

Just retired my 2000 vintage Mizuno MX-20 3-P. I always swore I would never get new clubs. These things were just perfect. 18 years of golf.

I began noticing a loss of control and spin here and there in the last year, but you don't really notice the slow deterioration of the club faces over time. You have to put them up against new clubs to see the grooves are just busted.

Got fit for, purchased, and received a set of Mizuno JPX 919 Forged 4-G. Got to play them last Friday. Same great shot feedback on both well struck and mis-hit shots, and spin plus (so much so that a ball change is probably going to be required). Hope these will last another 19 years.

I actually get my mizuno bent up 2* and +1/2”.

Back to the OP, had my MP60s for 10 years. Currently on the 18 blades and see myself playing those for a while especially being custom fit.

Ive played mp 32's for 10 years about. I bought some new(different brand) irons 2 weeks ago. I dont think irons get better than the 32's. Different but not necessarily better.

I also have a new (to me) theory that part of the reason many people like mizuno, whether they are aware or not, is the flatter stock lie angles.

First ap2 rendition from 09-16. Like many it was my first experience with the Project X and the combination of the two was a really good fit for me. Played a bunch of different titleist heads before that, 690 cb being my favorite, and have found a close comparison between those and the z765, and now z785 since leaving the ap2's behind. But I would like to find myself something I could invest another 7 years in. Waiting to see what the new mp's look like this fall and probably go from there.
