• 2016 was hitting an average 283.0 yards

• 2017 was hitting an average 283.5 yards

• 2018 was hitting an average 293.6 yards

• 2019 was hitting an average 293.3 yards

 

Note:

• 1997 David Toms was hitting an average 272 yards

 

So I find it hard to believe a renowned short hitter in David Toms was that much longer than you claim about Ian Poulter. So do have you got any proof of Ian Poulter in 1997 hitting it “245-255” yards as you claim?

Just to recap Phil has hit beyond awful tee shots on 1,10,11, and 17 R1 and 3,5, and 8 R2. He is currently 1 shot off the lead.

Interesting feature on Brooks Koepka on ESPN... what caught my ear was how he mentioned that Phil Mickelson was one of the only guys to check on him during his injury. Reminded me of how Phil checked on Tiger after his issues. I'm not the biggest fan of Phil, but it seems nice to show concern for fellow competitors.

In 2012 on Saturday he hit his drive on 2 way left into the trees. Took an unplayable. Proceeded to hit a massive slice driver off the deck right in front of the green and got up and down for par.

Seriously though Phil was probably trying to punch slice that and get as far down as he could and dead pulled it straight. I know because I've had the same driver of the deck recovery fail many times lol
