Bad feeling Phil is about to unravel. He'll be lucky to step on 13 tee at Even.

Reminded me of how Phil checked on Tiger after his issues. I'm not the biggest fan of Phil, but it seems nice to show concern for fellow competitors.

Also cited bubba and DJ. 2 guys specifically who get ran through the mud regularly for being “ not nice “. I’ll have real and sometimes blunt , over proper and fake .

I never heard DJ described as "not nice." A little dense, yes. Had problems w/substance abuse, yes. But not nice?

There isn’t any I can find for Poulter in 1997, which is why I asked you - surely you didn’t make that up without any factual proof?

The fact a short hitter David Toms in 1997 hit 272 yards average goes against what you claim about Poulter’s “245-255”

If you can provide the link to support your claim, that would great. Thanks!

For all his dopey comments and mannerisms, I am a fan of DJ.. Dude is a beast of an athlete.. Like Bubba more after his health scare and I like the emotions he displays.. I would bet he's a "solid" guy. I like Brooks, as well.. but that weight loss for a mag shoot was a little much and I'm pretty sure his woman brought those thoughts into his mind.

Titleist....

No one was hitting it 245-255, well almost no one. 255 was 187th on tour in 1997. 245 195. And that was the only player who qualified under 250.

150th on tour was 262. Ian Poulters average rank in distance is around 125. It ranges between 102 and 145 this decade. 125 was 264. 100th was 267.

The Poulters of the world hit it 260-265 in 1997 not 245-255. The extra 10-15 yard is obviously a huge difference to your short sell.

And Poulter wasn't playing on the PGA Tour in 97, so don't look there.

Nice to see Phil go with a conservative strategy at 10 and still miss the fairway.
