Just a suggestion, treat this current site and it's condition like you would a golf course as it's the same for everyone. Get use to it or stop complaining, but please do one or the other.

Yes. But the Ian poulters of the world were hitting it 245-255 not 285-290. It’s one thing to watch one Uber talent boat it over trees and cut par 5s in half. But to see more than half the field do it ? It’s changed the game , not for the better in my opinion. It takes the actual long hitters weapons and minimizes them.

That could well be it. Of course I'm not demeaning Tiger at all, he was still 23 yards longer than the next best in the field. A little known stat is Tiger averaged 342 in 1996 missing only 4 fairways and still missed the cut because of his approach play and putting.

There was a great story about Phil when he won the first time making a big deal about getting the finest of wine from the cellar. He wanted the good stuff no holding out.
