So you own more than one iron set...

What do you do with them? Swap them regularly? Have a travel bag and a home bag? (Are they the same?) How do you express your inner golf ho?

Usually I just play my main set, but sometimes if I have a stretch when they are cooperating those irons will be punished and not allowed to play and I will put an older set in play.

I have my set from HIgh School (Couple of records) Set I played the most in college (A few more).  Other than that I have a few sets I never got around to selling that are not worth much anymore.  Some sentimental sets (Grand Father and Dad).

I have only one real back-up set.  Why?  I don't have a summer home, or a set at my parents house or in laws house.  Mainly because the Srixon's were so good, that I was worried anything I bought wouldn't be as good.

I'm quickly regretting buying another set. I'm looking forward to playing them this weekend, but will likely be reselling them after only a couple rounds.

I like the idea of multiple sets, but would I every REALLY play another set even semi regularly? Probably not.

My back-ups are there because I invested some cash in them and, to anyone else, they wouldn't have the same value.  Overall, they're worth only something to me.  They're not so wildly different that it's difficult to switch from one to the other, so it's cool to have a bit of variety.

A few sets.  Eye2 +no+, ISI bucu, 0311ST,  wilson staff blades.  They all see action.  I can't swing as hard in 40° versus 90°, so when it's cold I use lighter clubs (0311ST steelfiber) and when it's warm I use the staff blades (x100).  Ditto driver.  Cold equals Rogue ST TD plus autoflex whereas warmer is TSr4 Ventus Red 5x.  The others see intermittent service.

I have two sets if iblades built to identical specs (green dot DG x100, D2.5-D3.5 swingweight, 1/2" longer than Ping standard).  I ordered the second set as soon as I heard Ping was ceasing production on these (and moving them to a replacement only status).

The little bit I get to actually play, I use the original set I have.  The second set sits in an extra golf bag.  They have never been used.  They will be used some day.

I do custom paintfill on my irons and haven't even had  chance to do the paintfill on the backup set yet.

i live and  and commute to work between two states and keep an almost identical playing set in both  so i can avoid checking in bags .  usaully my irons and wedges are the same  between the two  woods and hybrids slightly different.  just sold a bunch of sim max 2 drivers , woods and hybrids to upgrade to AI smoke versions  in the state i play  in during the winter but unfortuantely theses darn atmospheric rivers are crushing my  on my weekend golf
