Wow..... This week has some tough ones to pick.... I don't really see any that are straight gimmees....

And an era has ended... again. The black hole is moving to Vegas and the die hards are understandably upset. The dirt infield, the legends of Snake, Todd, and Cliff. Lester and Lyle and who can forget the Mad Stork. All the history has been traded in for a white tiger and The Hangover re-runs. Scantily clad women and PaiGow will be the end of what has been a disastrous couple of decades for this cursed squad since we all heard the famous mantra of "just win, baby." Well, as quick as a Kenny King career, they are off to the desert and Atlas Shrugged.

Recently, the NFL's Mr Rogers went 29-30 with 4 touchdowns and he has stated he will be haunted by the one incompletion. Well, we couldn't overcome the huge fantasy deficit I was in, but kudos to you Mr. Brees. It has been a long and storied career as you continue to re-write the record books. Remember when he was washed up over a decade ago and the Chargers went in another direction. I suspect the fans of the Chargers throw hissy fits like Brees' successor. Are there are any fans left? If you aren't filling up a 20,000 person soccer stadium, methinks not, but Drew is haunted, and there is nothing more dangerous than a middle aged man chasing his demons. Sorry Ryan Tannehill, you are better than we ever expected but I will take the Saints and give the points.

Remember when the Raiders and the Chargers were a thing. Air Coryell, Dan Fouts, John Jefferson and the guy who made rec-specs cool... Chuck Muncie. This is going to resemble a middle school band concert, friends and family only, and the patrons will leave saying, "It was something we had to do, and that cover of the Star Wars theme song was pretty good." I was going to pick on this game, but really who cares?

In an AFC North showdown, the Ravens aren't playing for anything and quite frankly, the Browns are bawling out (pun intended). The Ravens are on auto pilot, the Browns have no pilot. And speaking of pilots, did you know today was the day the Wright Bros took off at Kitty Hawk for the first manned flight? Well, they did it in 1903, and the sand dune they jumped from was not necessarily stunning when I saw it 100 years later, but it was a huge day. I expect the first half to have Jackson at the helm and it will be a huge day. Second half will have RGIII at the helm, and really, he will remind everyone of two things... what he was, and how bad the Browns are. Ravens and the points please.

I pick the Stillers game every week, and this week is no exception. Lev has a reason to be amped up, Darnold is playing some good ball right now, and Eddie will be screaming J-E-T-S, but will anyone be listening? Does anyone care, Isn't there a Sunday matinee of Cats, or Rent or something? The talking heads of PGH have turned on Duck, he is a bad QB, he has no talent, he has no pedigree, but last time I checked, there were 10 other QBs who didn't do very well against the Bills. I am expecting him to be on a short leash, and in a karmic twist, in the land of the Statue of Liberty, Duck will be replaced by the PGH version of the same statue, in comes Mason Rudolph to hand off the rock. I see Lev tickling 50 yards, but ultimately he will end the game in frustration. The beginnings of his next song about how stupid he was. He will have his beats earphones on searching for $10 samples for his next masterpiece by the end of the 3rd quarter. I am taking the Stillers and giving the points in this one.

Then one pick for the Super Bowl with the final score predicted for a bonus pick for the closest.

Does anyone know what in the heck is happening anymore? It’s the Saints one week, the Niners the next and throw in a hot Vikings a sprinkle of the Pack and watch out here comes the Boyz! Sleepless in Seattle can be a problem. What in the hell ? To much parity!!! We go ga ga over a one week wonder. In the AFC it looks like the Patriots suck. Chiefs and Ravens are the new tutti fruti flavor of the week. I am still betting Patriots. LoL.
