Saw 1 person on Twitter get tickets. Saw multiple people on Twitter have tickets in their cart only to be denied. Which would have driven me to do awful things most likely.

Weds and Thursday practice tickets are still available for me. I am in now.

But not going to bother... will have to now decide whether to buy a golf tour package. Unsurprisingly they have loads of tickets for 6 times face value.

When I got tickets for Hazeltine, seems like they assigned you to group A, B, C, etc. and you had specific day and time to buy. Once A window was closed, whatever was left was open for group B. Once your group window was open, you logged in and could buy whatever was available. This seems really stupid compared to that. WASTE OF TIME and MISLEADING!

If everyone was accepted, that is obviously way over the total of tickets sold, then what is the point? Should have just opened it up and did first come first serve. "Bots" and digital scalpers are going to get their's anyway.

>

> Yeah I saw something that the PGA wanted to do this to make sure "bots" wouldn't be able to spam the ticket availability and buy everything up, but StubHub had tickets available 2 days ago for the weekend rounds. And there's already a ton of tickets available on there and VividSeats.

There's also individual accounts selling 10+ tickets despite there supposedly being a 4 ticket limit. They blew this one, I hope everyone stays away from the secondary market and the course is half empty, though I know that'll never happen.

Logged back in....just so I could see my guy walk all the way from left to right without stopping. It helps soothe the pain.

It is what it is... I blame myself for falling for it again.

I got 2 tickets each for Saturday and Sunday. I checked out at 11:08am. It was very smooth.

Based upon the reaction on twitter and here it seems like many people don't understand how queue-it works and how to have the best chance to purchase. The people who know how to buy tickets and sneakers had a big advantage the way they were released. And for everyone claiming bots bought all the tickets it doesn't require a bot to have the best chance to buy when queue-it is used.

Was it a good process for everyday golf fans? No. There were a couple simple things they could have done to make it more difficult but they didn't and this is the end result. I do agree that a more Masters like process would have better for everyday golf fans though.

Fill us in on this secret process aside from logging in at 10AM, and getting dumped in line randomly at 11. I think everyone’s biggest gripe is that they made it seem like just because you received an access code you’d be all set for getting at least one ticket. To have everything sell out in an hour when they knew that the amount of tickets available was dwarfed by the amount of people they sent codes to is a pretty big kick in the d*ck. For having a couple years to plan out and implement their sales strategy, I think it’s pretty easy to say it was a complete disaster.

As I said in post #19, it looked like it was going to be like Coachella...and it was!

I'm baffled why anyone would pay for a practice day ticket...it's not like the Masters (which is the only practice day I'd pay for)...the whole thing that makes the Ryder Cup different is the crowds and patriotism (and competition)...which is completely missing on practice days. Nor is it a ultra private like PV.

Take that money and go play Blackwolf Run...or at least 4 holes worth!
