Nike Golf Hard Goods 2020 ? GOLF BAGS comeback?

It's pretty common for those labels to be under the actual shipping weight. The Hybrid is 6 lbs at a minimum. Sport Lite is noticeably lighter.

Realized you bought the Air Sport after reading again. If I recall correctly the Hybrid was only slightly heavier than the Air Sport. BTW, can you post some pics of the Air Sport?

Just talked to Golftown, up here in Canada. We will not be seeing these until end of February. No word on any other colorways for the hybrid.

Honest question and not trying to be contrite here but what's the attraction to these bags? I looked at them at PGASS the other day and IMO they don't do anything very well. Small top, no full length dividers, no grab handle, same basic weight you can get in other bags, straps weren't uber comfortable, pockets are on par with everything else. I'm just trying to understand. Is it just having something with the swoosh on it? I wear Nike shoes all the time so no being a hater, just trying to figure this one out.

The Air Hybrid has a handle and full length dividers which it seems like people are more interested in.

The Air Hybrid has all of those features. Rubber grab handle at the top end of the bag and additional grab handle at the base of bag make lifting and maneuvering the bag in and out of the trunk and onto a pull cart easy. A slide through cart strap cut out is another great touch although fairly common these days. It does have full length dividers as well. The pockets make sense and provide easy access for storage and retrieval whether in a cart, push cart and/or walking. I do wish there were more color ways but having received my black Air Hybrid today I am pleased with looks and quality. Definitely recommend.

Thanks for the responses. The ones I saw at PGA must have been the Sport Lite and I definitely did not like that bag. I have a Ping Hoofer and looking for a different bag.

I looked at them at the PGATSS today as well. Like my older colors of the sport lite more than current, but do like the putter well offering VS other brands

I've got a Callaway 14-slot hybrid I'm reasonably happy with, and a middle of the road Nike bag with 7 dividers. So I'm looking at the Sport Lite for my lightweight option. Any reviews on that one yet?

 

I really want the Hybrid, because I love the look of it, but I can't exactly justify having two bags that are the exact same size. The Callaway is this one, so if anyone has thoughts on that vs. the Nike head-to-head, I'd love to hear them. Callaway 2019 Fusion 14 Golf Stand Bag | TGW.com

I have the Sport Lite and really like it but then I've used the previous version as well.

What draws me to this bag is that it is light but it also has a dedicated putter slot.

Also the drink pocket is in a perfect spot and is really easy to put your drink in and out. This is the reason I moved away from the Hoofer Lite...I could live without the putter slot since the club opening is larger overall but the drink holder and range finder pocket leave a lot to be desired.

 

One last thing...the legs snap back tight when you lift the bag. Almost every other bag I've tried,except for the Hoofer, had leg droop.

Yes! The legs snap back quickly, my Sun Mountain 4.5 has the worrrrrst case of leg droop. It’s the excuse I used in my head to replace it with the Air Hybrid haha

Like any stand bag with an external foot, I wouldn't trust it to stand straight up and not fall. Hoofers and similar without the foot mechanism have a completely flat, full sized base so they have the best chance of being stable when standing straight, but even then I wouldn't rely on it.

Looks like it is...the Sport Lite is exactly the same as previous models so I think the Hybrid would be as well.
