The indents around the tee are not a big deal to me as the tee will set the ball where I want it. It really boils down to wear around the feet and in the center of the mat

Finally Got the net yesterday and to my chagrin, one of the fiberglass poles is not functioning....

Finally got a tracking update after ANOTHER Instagram message... it’s scheduled to deliver Monday, but icing on the cake is they gave me DIFFERENT tracking number than my emails, their website, and earlier Instagram messages.

my rukket haack pro net came in yesterday. About 7 days from order to doorstep. Looks great! Unfortunately, my mat from DWQuailgolf still hasn't shipped.

Foreplay Pod just posted a video on Instagram of someone hitting a ball through a Rukket and into a window right behind it. Placement of the net obviously very dumb, but lots of bad publicity for Rukket lately.

This is my Rukket after two sessions. I love the net, and I’m sure they’ll replace it under warranty when things get back to normal, but this doesn’t seem right. I am not a fast swinger — 92 mph with the driver, but I am very accurate and I seem to be hitting the same spot on the net frequently. Using clean pro v1s.

Ordered a Rawhide mat and eBay net (10x7) on Thursday. Both showed up Saturday. Put 500 balls into it already and no issues at all with rebounding, fraying, etc.

 

best $190 I’ve spent on golf in a while (Mat 90, net $97)

What's the quality of the c grade like?

For me personally C grade is really good. There are indentations around the tee holes but it doesn’t matter to me because I tee the ball up away from the holes (near the front of the mat). The center of the mat is flush, no issues for using irons or wedges. I have no regrets.

So going to go with Rawhide for a mat, but Rukket is out as a net choice. What's the best net out there that isn't crazy expensive and doesn't need stakes (or only a few stakes)? I have A LOT of limestone and firm ground so stakes are a pain. Might just go with one of those golf-specific tarps and string it to trees.

Finally got my Rukket today. Quick set up and breakdown and stores nicely in the bag. Got a few swings in and seems great. The tri-surface mat is nice too. Overall a huge pain in the ass with customer service, but seems like a nice net. Hopefully it holds up.

 

Now to decide if I get a Rawhide to stand on...

I did not want to start a new thread - does anybody have a more "mobile" net set up that can take driver shots? I live in a condo and my "gargage" is maybe like 10ft wide at most, and has crap all over the place and just can't fit a nice net set up. I'd need to have something that can fold up and down that I can place outside facing into my garage that I can hit balls into it. I know there are really robust solutions if you plan to put something up that never moves, but I'm specifically looking for something that can fold up and down and it would be awesome if it could take high ball speeds, and not just rinky dink chips and pitches.

It may be too big, but the net I got on Amazon can be assembled/dissassebled in a few minutes and I've hit like 400 shots into it (driver included) and no issues. Driver ballspeed is 160-165 fyi.

They might be sold out... i searched for the exact name and I can't find it. Either way, I think 10ft is a little too wide and might go into my neighbors driveway a little bit which is an issue if she's going to pull her car out or something. I think I was hoping to find a 7-8ft wide net.

There is one on Amazon called Powernet Golf Net and Mat Bundle for $150 that has a few good reviews, but isn't on Prime so if it didn't work out I'd be screwed.

If any of you are willing to go the DIY route, I picked up a high impact #18 net from just for nets and built a frame out of PVC. Project didn't take long at all and I don't consider myself the most handy person. Was originally going to go with a Rukket but the model I wanted sold out.

I ordered the 10x10 net for 60, but you are able to order a smaller custom size for cheaper if you want. PVC pipe / materials cost me around 40 bucks.

Same exact thing happened to me at about 1000 shots. I rippled right through it. I changed position, and ripped right through that in about 500 shots.

 

I then tried getting it replaced under warranty, and I found it impossible to get rukket to respond to their emails, phone calls, or voicemail messages. They're worthless.

Just ordered a Rawhide C grade mat. Will be using it mostly just to stand on and toss my Rukket tri-turf on, so wasn't worried about the condition near the tee holes.

You don’t just hit straight into a net. Balls will rip through it quickly. You need a tarp of some sort hanging in front of the net so the ball hits the tarp and it takes the initial velocity off the ball then the tarp and ball go into the net. This will keep your net from ripping and extend the life of the net for a LONG time.

Hitting balls directly into a net from a couple feet away is a recipe for disaster for whatever is behind that net.

Augster is right. I used a bed sheet as a baffle for 2 years in front of my net with problems. Not sure if the material makes a difference, but mine was the soft t-shirt type of sheet.

Just a quick update and kudos to Ruckett. I submitted a warranty claim through their website about 20 days ago and received my replacement net today. Excellent customer service (for me).
