I keep the PDF handy, as many shafts have different diameters which affects actual installed size.

Even if they are made in Thailand, they're still going to cost ±$10 each. If they are cheaper, they're fake. The website will probably have 10%-20% off for a July 4th sale.

Iomic (and most other Japanese grips) tend to run smaller than same size American grips. In fact its hard to find

midsize grips over here in Asia.

Would a fake supplier say the grips were made in a country where the real.ones were not made?

I knew they weren’t legit because of the price. But I’m cheap. Now it’s very likely they won’t last nearly as long, but they feel fine to me so far. As often as I change irons, it’s very difficult for me to justify $10+ per grip. If I get a full season out of them, I’ll feel it was easily worth the $40 I spent.

How easy do the white ones get dirty? And do they clean up easily?

I have the white ones, they stay pretty clean, few 'streaks' from grip ends (black) I assume from putting in the bag...if you're "Mr. Clean" like I am, I'd go with something else if expect to keep 'like new'

I've seen the white ones look a little dingy. I have the red, and I never really see a problem. If the look might bother you, go with the black ones.

great grip what I like about them

is how unique they are compared to any other grip on the market

BTW Vega IMO is the best value (from a price & quality standpoint)

of any of the high-end, luxury club makers

you're wasting your $money$ buying any of the big name brands

goes to show small sized companies produce the best products

since they can't by necessity be profit driven

I hate buying fake Iomics. It keeps the market alive and there are better grips for the price. Most used grips are better, new Superstrokes or TVs

I certainly understand your point of view, and it’s probably correct. But I got 13 grips for $40, I haven’t seen anything else that comes close to that deal.

I do wish they would use a different name and basically acknowledge that they are knockoffs instead of trying to pass them off as the real thing.

But the bottom line for me is I got grips that I like for a little over $3 per grip.

I tried those, had a bad experience with them, I think they were slick within a month. I wouldn’t put them on now even if someone gave them to me.

Maybe they work well for others, but my experience was very poor.

Heck, maybe I bought fakes and didn’t know it, I don’t remember where I got them.

I've always bought mine from the Iomic website, so I can be pretty sure I got the real thing. I've never had one of these feel slick, even after a couple of years. I bet you did get fakes.
