Anyone have issues with Robert Mark shipping delays?

I purchased a new head cover for my putter from Robert Mark almost two weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped. Was supposedly in stock, certainly wasn't a special order or anything. I have reached out to them twice to see what's up but haven't received a response yet. Anyone else have issues like this with them?

Paid the guy and he never shipped me the product. Never answered my emails. Opened a PayPal dispute and hurt his feelings. Eventually reimbursed by my credit card company because this shoddy company took no responsibility. Unethical. Hope what happened to me doesn't happen to you.

1st deal for a h/c 5-6 years ago -- flawless great work delivery etc.

2nd deal 2-3 years ago ended up purchased and reimbursed ... similar to wilburman bought a h/c on a promo and after 2 weeks I inquire and was ghosted ... think I waited 48hrs and filed a PP dispute for the refund

this seems to be the ongoing issue anytime I see a problem with RM.

FWIW I called this AM and shocker, call went to voicemail. Left a message, going to give them 48 hours to respond and then initiate a paypal dispute.

I've dabbled with RMG a few times as his quality is really really good. However, RMG is THE WORST company I've dealt with regarding your issues. Last set WAS THE LAST SET as it took months and a four piece set took two separate shipments weeks apart. I've ordered dozens of sets from multiple artists and have never received the piss poor level of service as I have from RMG.

Thanks all for the feedback. Going to give it until tomorrow AM then am going straight to paypal dispute. I order from small companies all the time, most are incredibly responsive. This is like dealing with the DMV.

For what its worth, RMG is active on social media... Might be worth publicly complaining there if it results in action.

Few sundays ago was browsing his site. Sent an email and got a response from him immediatly. Went back and forth via email for the night. Ordered two in stock (according to website) covers that night. 2 weeks go by and no update. Left him an email..... another week or 2 go by. Call during normal hrs.... voicemail, still no response from that a week ago ???

So I finally managed to make contact via a private message on instagram. He indicated they were running behind because they were working with a skeleton staff due to COVID. You might try contacting him there.

Back in January I reached out to them inquiring about taking two of their stock designs and making some custom alterations as well as color changes. They were very responsive during the email exchanges and sent mock ups of the design. I paid for the order and gave them the 30 days which their website says they require for custom orders. I reached out to them on the 30th day and after 3-4 days of constant emails and phone calls, I finally got an email back. It was clear they haven’t even touched the order. They promised they would get it made and throw in rush shipping. I finally got the order 10 days later, it was sent regular shipping.

As angry as I was with the customer service, I will say that the order came out stunning. The quality is very high end. The actual product I am very happy with and the materials used are premium. All of my custom changes were executed to perfection. I anticipate that this set of head covers will be used for quite a long while. With that said, my next set won’t come from RMG. I paid a premium price for a premium product however, the lack of customer service turned me off.

Lots of responses here similar to my experience. Flawless communication until I paid then it was radio silence. The product is great but their customer service sucks.

Ordered a custom design from him earlier this year, it shipped on time, communication was great, and the product was awesome. Huge fan of Robert Mark. Sad to hear about people’s experiences because I’ve always been fast to recommend them. Hope they can turn it around!

Cover is on the way, should arrive on the 18th, originally ordered on May 23rd.

I ended up exchanging a number of messages with them on Instagram so that does seem like a good way to contact if you are having trouble reaching him/them otherwise.

In their defense, I had selected a magnetic closure which is considered a "custom" option and the quoted turnaround for those is much longer which I did not realize at first.

In the end, I want a very high quality cover that will last a long time and I'm confident they will deliver on that front.

Just to close this out, cover arrived and really is superior quality so all’s well that ends well.

Have purchased the product locally through golf shops who carry the stock and I believe they are the best headcovers money can buy. I have not dealt with them online, so I can't offer anything there. They donate alot to charities in the area and get probably more orders then they can handle.

Hate to revive an older thread but wished I had saw this before ordering. The ghosting issue is a very real thing with this company. I really hope they enjoy what I gave them because I will not spend another dime with this company for anything in the future whether it’s through their website or a brick and mortar retailer. The first voicemail and email sent still haven’t been answered and we are 60 days out forget all the follow ups. I understand covid and small business as I’m a sole proprietor but it doesn’t take much effort to answer the phone or respond to an email.

Terrible company to deal with. I placed an order for the wrong item (fairway vs hybrid) and emailed them immediately and they told they will fix it. Waited like 2 months for the order and got the wrong item. Replied to the email and no one ever responded. Called my credit card for a chargeback.

At least you were able to get through to speak to someone to try and change the order. Not a single corespondents has been returned that I’ve made. I am curious what part of their business is driving the disrespect to customers? I surely can’t see them lasting with how they treat people.

I didn’t have a problem with the cost, it was the service I received at that price point that bothered me. The cover is extremely well made with quality materials but the service was so bad I won’t spend another dollar with them. The only way I’m purchasing another cover would be on the secondary market here or on Facebook.
