Finally I will get to play golf this week. My tee time is in 3 hours. This afternoon at BFCC it's your commish with two new caddies playing for their first time on the course. One assistant pro also will join us.  I'm going in with the goal of posting a number that begins with a 7.

I summoned back to my Vegas sports bettor days and added something different for our final week of prognosticating. 

Take a higher risk bet in an effort to win the damn entire contest is what I had envisioned. I sort of hope the winner of our contest predicts this week's winner with a 4 X's play. 

 

Our carrying on with the PGA Tour picks contest ever since the NFL weekly predictions ended back in February has proved to be a major success. We are a striving bunch it seems.

All right canine lovers meet Oden. He is a 12 lb. Anatolian Shepard/ Great Pyrenees mixed breed puppy that my friend/coworker just adopted from Asheville's largest dog rescue operation Brother Wolf. He has escaped the orphanage and will be with a dog loving family that has a small farm with lots of room for him to roam as he grows. He too will have 5 brother and sister doggies to romp around with. 

 

  Oden is adorable.

John P. throws his bag on our cart and I spy PXG irons and these head covers. Unique combo I thought. John has been a part time student at U. of Fla. who keeps taking breaks from the books to caddie at some very posh private clubs and tony resorts though out the southeast. He is just past 30 years of age. Currently he is looping at the number one course in North Carolina the Fazio designed Wade Hampton C.C. and Kiawah Island primarily. He also is on staff at the other high end C.C. here in Asheville Walnut Cove. He will be on occasion caddying at BFFC.  John covers major miles in his RAV4. J. P. is a Lefty.

So I had reeled off four straightowd above on our fine shots. Sadly we both missed our birdie putts.  

I gave him a tour of the men's grill and locker room at the turn. We snagged some gatorade and fresh baked cookies. There were more bogey's on the back for commish. I just got nothing going after that run of four pars.

I shot 84.
