Thanks a bunch for sharing the photos. I have a few questions P.

1. What the heck is that white driver head cover in the second to last picture?  Something one might get when he purchases his 50th Chic-fil-A? I need elaboration on the fowl please.

2. Did someone airmail the green and then heard it rattling around the grandstand apparatus? It appears the blue shirted player is looking for a line to the green from WAY beyond.

3.When you saw the Dancing Dead belt did you run to the car and throw on your Ramones one to be in harmony?

4. This was the avocado toast trip wasn't it?

5. Do we get to know what score you had at Riviera?

6. You don't get gaga seeing a Circle T do you? 😁

Once again thanks. I love it when you guys post golf photos.

Head cover? That’s mine. The caddie at Riviera even said something about it, it’s a flower. He said, “I have never seen a guy with a flower head cover. It’s a Tiger, gorilla, or something like that. I love it.”

The grandstands were along a fairway. Way beyond my driver distance, that’s my long hitting buddy.

I thought we might forge a musical connection, but alas it was not to be.

No toast on this trip. We returned to see my friend when we had $12 toast. But we did drag my friend to the Whisky.

I have no recollection of score which generally means it wasn’t good. My game travels like a dirty diaper.

I didn’t care about his putter, but I did notice it. He was a super nice guy. Every host during the trip was wonderfully hospitable and kind.

Commish wants to sample the pizza and the pot! So I now know what the Blue Brothers containers were from the first photos you posted from Chicago. I thought they were toothpicks or a travel pack of condoms. 😆Thanks for sharing the photos Chuntsman. I will summon the southeastern chapter of Golf Gods right now and tell them to deliver fine fairways and greens weather next monday for your B day round. That is a mighty huge snow pile behind you sir. I'd say training week held mighty severe conditions weather wise. You had it winter WIndy City tough for a lad from HOTLANTA !

Congratulations on your completion and accomplishment. The grey skies in the photos taken as you were driving around remind me of winter's in Detroit in my youth. Looks to me your meals were all top notch. As a restaurant guy , me likes the great food you had on the shores of Lake Michigan. You look strong as an ox like Gary Woodland !  You carry your drives 305 bro? Swing speed with driver probably 117 ish. Time spent gambling in a casino can only be viewed as entertainment. From someone who dabbled in table games for a decade living in Vegas, it's never going to end with a person up a bunch of money. It's about having drinks and feeling the rush. It is a blast for sure.  I just turned to the Sports Books and bet on Pro games and did a tad better than on the casino floor. Now I never won big but the rides up and down were thrilling. Roulette is a blast. I always recommend that tourists go downtown Vegas and play roulette. A few C notes buy you a mess of chips that you can enjoy for far more spins than on the Strip.

Hey how is that for your 2nd week in February Chuntsman? You have an interesting week of training in Chicago and WIN the contest here going away !

CONGRATS from the Commish on your team snagging 17 points. That really sets the bar on how one would like to finish on a Sunday in our new competition.

Once again I really enjoyed the photos and am sure all the rest of the bumbling prognosticators 'round here will as well. Thanks for sharing.

Now we have jerebear (already established) and Chuntsman is( we learn today) a major player for Jeron Electronics........now DON'T confuse the two you dumb a** blonde. (me)

Now get ya some biscuits and gravy, grits, slaw, fried okra, cornbread, and a mess of fried chicken. Peach pie w/ vanilla IC for desert of course.

Welcome home and back to the thread Weekly Champ Mr. Chuntsman.

Cheers, we are in the same club and enjoy the smoooooth life here and there.  Right on 🙂

P3P got me thinking that even though I my golfing experience is limited, I too have some photos from various courses I have visited throughout my career. They may not be up to snuff when it comes to the like of Amen Corner at Augusta, 7th Hole at Pebble Beach, or even the Island at the TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course, but man were these course filled with all kinds of goofy characters.

It was sit in night, so there was a Ramone, guitarist for Quiet Riot.  It was the LA vibe and a hick from MT didn’t get much intel. My buddy did know a guy who knew a guy and we were talking as best you can in the Whisky, but he was also in Blondie and a studio musician. The next time I went it was an album release party for a young LA musician. Can’t remember his name but it was dream come true for him.

no toast at the Whisky in case anyone was going to hit up the Whisky for avocado toast.

Many here have heard this story of mine. I think a few of might not have so I'll highlight it. I feel it is possibly my best Vegas story. It involves golf so that makes it more special.

Chef's home in Summerlin did sell. His career assistance guy found him a gig on the other side of the country. The family packed and headed to Sea Island, GA.  Sweet !  The next thing you know the Parker family is together riding bikes, playing tennis, and frolicking about in the lovely peaceful villages that are coastal Georgia. Ahhhhhh  that's not Vegas. I was happy for chef and could really hear him beam that it's so much better now that he had left the Vegas Strip when we chatted over the phone. He was there for few years. The same employment contact then had a bigger offer to lay on Chef. He was offering a Jumbo sized Chef's job many states away yet again. Chef wanted the challenge. It was a big position because there were 2 courses and 2 clubhouses. It was a very active suburban country club which did a ton in food and beverage. Chef packed up the wife and 3 daughters and moved to Houston. The Woodlands was now their new home. Chef loved Texas right from the start. He barely had time for family though as it was an enormous task to keep his new operation humming well. Chef runs a tight ship. Chef takes no BS. He excelled there and the hundreds of members really loved Chef Parker. One of the members there saw the fine job Parker did and wanted him for himself. The local owner of the Astros was buying Wayne Huizenga's golf club in Palm City, FL. and was going to overhaul the entire place and promote it as a must join for very wealthy guys that took their golf serious. Jim Crane got what he wanted. Jim Crane got Chef Parker to move once more. Chef left Houston after 10 very successful years.
