I just arrived home after diving back from South Carolina and am seeing some great things around here. First I see that Jerebear (the one who suggested this TOUR picks hot mess) and Highergr0und have committed to being in it.  Second I see that greenmachine made his picks a la Chris Berman style. Creative and I liked it Cant lay an egg POW! Third I see the breathtaking photos of the Northern California shoreline that P3P provided. My word what scenic beauty that course is. I have not been to the Monterey Peninsula but hopefully will one day. Pete's writing for the week was funny and well written piece as usual. The chins of prominence bind his team!  😝 I am feeling that  Mrs. P3P is a fairly easy going gal who herself possesses a fine sense of humor like the man of the house. I bet Mrs. P3P has a properly developed chin and never dribbles. P3P then tells us he is using the Harrington chip method. How good would Irish Chips be? Isn't it the Brits that have the recipe for the best chips to go with their vinegar soddened fish chunks? Nasty that malt vinegar bath. I am siding with the white trashies and the elderly in Florida and slathering on the Publix tartar sauce with a fresh lemon squeeze on my fried Cod thank you. I know Pete is just being modest in regards to his playing of Cyprus. He lashed at it with those swollen Steely McBeam arms and carried each and every one of the coastal coves with ease. P3P can hit a 4 iron 230 so his seaside drives must sail in the salty air with ease producing 305 yard carries. That's what a solid diet of Free Range Montana Bison and Oatmeal Stout does for one's length on the course I'm told. P3P then brought up the frosting of one's hair and even if he had the locks to pull it off he wouldn't. What would they think about that nonsense in the ORVIS Troutmasters club? Heavens.  I'll respond to that in a minute as it was directed at commish I am cetain. I very much enjoyed the funny written words from Pete on a Tuesday once again. Thank you for sharing the amazing pictures sir. Finally I see Q's post showing his very large man crush on the GOAT. I am with my buddy Q in extreme admiration of TB12 and loved Q's calling out of the doctor and his salty treatment of GQ Tommy. 

So we have a new contest yes, and as a bonus the new TOUR pick's challenge comes with the continuation of our club of crazies talking trash. I like that package deal.

Commish got sunburned today if you can believe that on a February 9th. A brief recap of my day on the course in a minute. I just have to get some lotion on my face. SIXTY EIGHT degrees today for my round. How fantastic is that?   !!

I was on a heater most of the summer. Won a lot of credit, money, and free beer. It’s the amateur trifecta. Started as a 5, bc I end every season crappy, was a 1.5 by July. Now I am a 4.

With almost 40 years in the game I am bound to have a few warm trends. Doing it in the dead of winter is surprising though to me. Fortunately I stay balanced whether it's a bunch o' bogey's day or a better than average go out there. I am fortunate to play as much as I do, but I also know that it is needed to charge my batteries. I face people all day each day at work and can take only so much before I am filled to the brim with interaction. I love the peace a nice golf course provides me. Practice is also enjoyable for this old man.

Easy enough....just put calls on trades, free agents, releases, then the draft!

I can't say that I have a solid destination for the former all-pro corner yet. What about the Wentz saga. Will he stay or will he go? Or how about the statement from Russell Wilson saying that he thinks the Seachickens inquired about a trade for the QB? Even better that Russ is just plain fed up with the crappy O-line and getting hit all the time in the Emerald City. Could he too be on his way out?

Well I had one fantastic day on the golf course from 12:30 until dark. Got in 18 and then played 7 extra holes. We played with 5 players. Three were scratch so I was a tad intimidated. Well my round was not to be free of doubles once again. Nope I got 2 doubles on the front. But with each double I followed it up with two solid pars. I new I was overdue for a hiccup but going to 6 over early was troubling. I was going to have to grind to stay with it. Being in a group with a bunch of players helps us to elevate our games. It didn't elevate my game a great deal but I did stop the vomiting on myself. I found two birds on the back 9 which helped my cause. One drive tugged ob but outside of that it was another point and shoot driver day. I can not tell you how good it felt to be out in the warm sun for hours with good friends. One player shot a 3 under. I had a 79. I was in my element this afternoon. My batteries are recharged. Snow and cold weather is to return this weekend. Thanks Golf Gods for getting commish a bunch of fine time on the course under the sun on his days off.

I’m in I’m in. This training class is kicking my arse. I did however manage to make my way to the dispensary today and have an authentic Italian beef sandwich with hot giardiniera. Tomorrow is the casino!! I will have my picks in tomorrow if that is  acceptable.

Nope!!!  Nice to see folks getting out.  I followed up my single round of 2019 with a goose egg in 2020, never even picked up a club.  Hoping 2021 brings the game back to me!

No I believe they exist each in their own skin with individual beating hearts. I saw their exact same picks ( they were made real close to one another on the same day I believe) and decided to keep quiet. I remained silent to see if any other player might spy it. I see the wise brother from Big Sky Land indeed did. I also kept quiet because the greenmachine is brand new to the world that is the PGA TOUR. I thought it would be rude if I drew attention to something regarding his very first picks. Our NFL picks champion is a bit green (cough) regarding all things going on inside the ropes. Now he can do some deep discussion on NHL stuff. After Pro football hockey is his gig. 

Nice catch there P3P. Maybe a fraction of a point will be awarded to you for the sighting.
