No official cap...shoot mostly in the low 90's.  Maybe this is my year to be consistently be in the 80's (probably an overly optimistic statement)...

I am not scratch. My low for 2020 was 1.5, and that is the lowest I have been in over a decade. I usually roll a round in the 2-4 zone. Anything over that and my opponents b**** and my partners dance naked. It’s an odd group.

 

End of season I usually balloon to a 5 (October’s are cold and the layers and not loosening up) and that is gone within the first 2 weeks of the scoring season.

Well commish I don't think I have a handicap because I don't have that little blue sticker that hangs from your rear view mirror. I don't think I am I scratch either because I never really have the itch to go out and play unless it's with the boys on occasion.

You know you are getting old when you can say been there and done that on both pics. Doing the Banana healthy turn boost. Wearing the microfiber golf shirt that breathes and comes in nice bright colors, but back in the day when I actually played halfway decent there was a Winston Light in the hand on the tee box, fine knit Britches pleated slacks with the nice pima cotton golf shirt and a sweater when the weather dictated. And my shoes were black leather with metal cleats. I loved the sound of persimmon giving the instant feedback when you nutted it. It has never been as good as that and never will. But we have fun living in the moment.

Oh yes doctoro back in our D.C. days the well dressed man wore fine outfits from that haberdashery. I loved that store. I also miss the metal spiked golf shoe experience buddy. Grab us a tee time at Herndon Centenial.

Here we go. A flashback to the 80's with commish in just that, a fine Britches suit. The famous " Pea" ( nickname due to her ultra petite size) girlfriend on my side. I loved that Britches offered both the conservative Brooks Brother's type clothing as well as finer Italian threads. I preferred the latter.

This is my story as well.  If I couldn't gamble, drink, and I had to pay cash money every time I tee'd it up I wouldn't play golf.  I haven't played golf alone in over a decade.  I am lucky my friends are funny and accepting of my amoral tendencies (you guys don't have this particular affliction, of that I can be sure).
