Me.... being an old senior golfer... just put a 44 gram Grafalloy Prolaunch blue shaft in my Rogue driver. Playing at 46.5". Really gives me an extra pop with a nice ball flight. Maybe Bryson and Rory should try it. 😉 It would snap in two for them. ha

Obviously on that swing it was fitting him pretty good. Having hit those two you mention and several others I recently switched to the Ventus Black. It wasn't the longest although it was within .5% of the longest. However it was the most accurate for me and it wasn't even close. So Rory being longer with more accuracy is a win/win.

What tipping did you use for the driver?  I have a player that measured 192 on our GC Quad, so looking at this shaft for him.

I use the black 7x. Love it, f****** badass shaft. Currently hitting the Mavrik SZ.

None. I tried both the un-tipped X and an S tipped up to 1.25" and hung with the X.

What’s interesting the 6x launches lower than the 7x 

 

VB 6x , as stout and performs like many of my 70g options , ad tp 7x , mrc d+ 70tx , KK 70tx , at about 13g lighter
