Proclubs

Proclubs is one of the best sellers of tour issue TM gear and one of the best golf sellers on Ebay. The do have SIM tour issue drivers for sale that show the + sign on the hosel.

Looks like on the fairway woods where a + sign would be the heads have an arrow on them and no room for the + sign. I doubt they are faking tour issue stickers for the fairway woods.

Niblick-99 is another excellent seller of tour issue TM gear. Looking at the SIM fairways they have for sell they do not have the + sign on the hosel either.

Looking at other sellers that are selling tour issue sim fairways none of them have the + sign on the hosel. I think you and the OP are fine to buy from Proclubs with their almost 200k positive sales or any other seller that has them. There has never been one consistent tour issue marking over the years for TM clubs.

It appears that TM on the SIM fairways did not use the + sign for tour issue.

Like grm24 said Proclubs is legit also Niblick-99. There are quite a few reputable sellers of tour issue gear on ebay. Drivers are easier to differentiate from retail with the + sign on the hosel and spec stickers. Fairways in plastic may also have spec stickers as well as the white/silver/black dot on the face(sometimes 2 dots). Some tour issue fairways have a paint break on the hosel. Other than that I dont believe there are and visual differences. There are a lot of tour issue fairway heads not in plastic and no dots with specs listed in the description, and that's more of whether or not you trust the seller.

Can anyone compare the performance of the tour head vs the retail? Less fade bypassed because of the higher lie?

Performance isn’t like a night and day difference but knowning specs that fit you will by default perform better. I’ve game a bunch of tour issue heads and currently game a tour issue m3 and it’s been amazing for me. Knowing the exact loft allows me to dial things in a lot better.

Minimal difference for me but an 8* m6 is a great combo to get repeatable launch and low spin.... biggest thing to keep in mind is tour heads usually are on the lighter side bc those guys hot melt to their desired and exact specs.

My setup was super light and swing weight was C9. had to buy a heavier back weight to get it back to normal

Just to add in here its my understanding Driver heads can still be Tour Issue but were over the max CT numbers allowed by USGA.  These heads will NOT have the “+” that is digitally stamped which is the sign for “approved by USGA”.

These are still very much a TI head but too HOT for USGA. Still plenty viable and dangerous.  Just be aware if you play in events where this driver could be tested.

Also I am a huge fan of Proclubs.  I have easily spent $3500 with them over the years. Yes they are very legit but I have seen a couple instances of “tour issue” when they are not.  MB2’s for instance. Everyone thinks 7 plugs are Tour Issue when this is far from the truth.  Or the satin finish (called Tour Finish) meant Tour Issue.  I have seen them have these listed as Tour Issued and has made me question their knowledge. But they are professional and amazing service.  Proclubs will take back anything in question.  Great sellers!

Take a look at previous MB2 Tour Players.  They mostly played 5 plug, not 7. The 7 was released for swing weight and the added plugs moved the sweet spot wider on the face. Tour Issue Adams MB2’s was denoted by “C” stamps.  Also heard 2dots around the MB2 stamps but I have not confirmed that one.

Niblick is 100% Tour Issue and I would not doubt trust all they have listed.

Hope this helps.

- Something that continues to go long off the tee in the fairway
- Something that is a fairway finder when needed and long
- Something that high, consistent and helps with par 5’s
-  Something to help with long par3’s and short par 4’s

-  Something metal, lots of them and go the gaps I need
- Something metal, 2x of them and helps me 120y and in
- Putters - limited rotation because I cannot afford misses

Golf is what you make of it.  Play grateful and accepting. We are all lucky to have it.

Rather than expecting lets all try and appreciate instead.

I echo a lot of the sentiments that were posted here and again pro clubs and Niblick are awesome sellers I’ve bought quite a few things from them.  I would just on the drivers watch the lie angle,  IMOP some of the stock they tend to get are heads that none of the pros want, ie massively upright head ,  if the 60° Lie angle on the driver works for you than that’s good but just be cautious with it

great to know the specs , keep in mind can org exact specs from ping for + $25

Are the Tour Heads purposely built with a higher lie angle. Im looking at a tour SIM MAX 8.0 if it says 60 lie angle on the head will that install at std on adapter at 60 or 58 so adapter flattens it.. std off shelf says the heads are 56 ?
