Smaller Fairway, Bigger Hybrid Combination

I tried searching for a thread, but had a hard time finding anything. I tend to hit clubs like the F6 baffler or the Adams Super Hybrid better than any other clubs and they are a combination between a fairway and a hybrid in my eyes. 

Just curious if there is any other clubs like this and if anybody else has had similar results. I tend to have a steep angle of attack, and i think this is why they are easier to maintain consistency.

I actually picked up a Cally flash Sub Zero 5 wood cause of the smaller head size.  Its not crazy small, but is smaller than most of the 5 woods I tried.  So you could say its a bit like a big hybrid.  Seems to get through the rough better.  I have hit it great since I got it and plan to stick with it for sure.

I would second the epic flash 3w or 5w, especially the sub zero model. Pretty compact heads but pretty forgiving if you have even decent contact.

Not to pound the drum anymore, but Epic Flash 5W is my all time favorite club. Goes a mile, but can flight it easily. Never mishit it.

I would echo the Epic Flash models are great. One that often gets overlooked is the Cobra Tour version 3 wood. It's a small head that really performs!

if you like the Adams Super Hybrid, look at the Callaway Super Hybrid.

Check out any of the recent "players" Cobra 4-5 wood options.  The F8+, F9 Tour, and SZ Tour all come in at 145cc (smaller than the 156cc Epic Flash SZ 5W).

 

I have actually had people think my 5-wood (F8+ in my case) was some sort of hybrid.
