No. My email was specifically regarding Z Forged replacement. So maybe they will all be released together.

I love Srixon, but that really is a swing and a miss if these are in fact the irons that come to retail. Just get rid of the notches and make it a straight muscle blade with the vt sole. No need to reinvent the wheel.

In Srixon terms the notches aren't reinventing the wheel. They've used that sole design in the past. My I-506's have the heel and toe notches.

Remember how the now-iconic z745 was hailed as a huge improvement when it was released? That’s because the iron that came before it was the z725 …

Yes, that was poor usage of that term by me. I just meant there's no need to stray too far from what they have now in the current Z-Forged. I think for some people the wave is a turn off, so just make a straight muscleback blade.

I get that for sure. I think the majority of people will be cross shopping the ZX7 and the Z Forged. Anyone who doesn't mind a busier look will probably like the ZX7. Most guys who want a classic muscleback also want it to look like one.

Never compared them in person, but the specs are identical, and the address pics on their website look nearly identical. The V Sole is a little different.

If you haven't played the Z-965, it's basically a Z-765 with a thinner topline, and a little better feel.

Cool. My Z785 A wedge is one of my favorite clubs to hit. I’ve sometimes thought about blending that muscle back look up into the short end of my set. I’m sure I could use a Z965 PW.

My 4i and 5i Z-765's blend seamlessly into my Z-965 6 iron. The 965's are fantastic irons.

Yes. Same lineage even. The Z Forged replaced the 965. I gamed the 965 and loved it. The day I went it to get fitted I thought I would buy the 765, but the 965 was immediately my preference. Definitely among the easiest MB I have ever played. Slightly larger profile than the Z Forged.
