I remember that quote. When he made it, I thought he was trying to convince himself more than anyone else. It was so bad, I gave him a, "foot in mouth" pass. I'm sure there are a few he would like to have back; that one is surely atop the list.

Ill get started with Tiger. TW is a tough one, he is definitely an apex predator. And a bit of a loner.

I remember Tommy winning his first tourney.  His parents always brought his dog to the tourneys.  After the win, he had his dog with the cup in photos instead of a girlfriend or wife (he was pretty young then).  

 

His poor dog was dying of cancer at the time.   I will always be a fan and I have been thrilled that he has done so well.   He has a similar last name that is regional to the Central UK area as me grandad.
