Well, you're talking a seasoned machinist. This isn't the tour truck guys, it's the TM R&D engineers with a whole production facility. Ideally it would all be CAD pre programmed, but it very well could be by hand. Talking in general, it's rather easy to remove that material on a mill. Doing it precisely and keeping desirable club characteristics takes some planning.

Ken Flanagan of flanigan built putters is as close as you’re getting to someone milling our heads for you.

Man, how amazing was it watching Tiger and Charlie on Sunday make 11 Birdies in a row!!

 

Kid’s swing is incredible and he’s got the clutch gene in him! Incredibly cool under pressure, he was lights out!

It is interesting that he is clearly wearing the same clothes as Tiger with the Nike logos removed. Must be a bargaining strategy. That kid is already gonna get paid!

Agreed…definitely a calculated move. Anyone saying “he’s only 12” isn’t paying attention to how competitive Charlie is and how big he and his family look like they are planning and dreaming.

 

Tiger and his father were already planning for Tiger to be the GOAT when he was that age, wouldn’t be surprised if Charlie and his family have the same mentality for him.

He had on Nike/TW shirts (with logos) and a Nike glove (with logo) along with Puma shoes.

He is playing the P7TW with cavities milled out of the muscle to remove weight.  And they have been rebranded the P7CW for Charlie Woods.

Black and red. Exact same red pattern (sort of camo red) with no swoosh. Tiger had the swoosh

Charlie’s shirt had the TW logo on the back neck I believe.

I would, because Tiger in the interviews seemed to have a very laid back attitude towards Charlie and his golf, saying that school came first which echoes a regret Tiger has mentioned about not finishing at Stanford. This feels pretty opposite to what Earl was doing which basically sounded like pretty consistent golf bootcamp and letting him dropout of school for it.

No for sure, that’s fair. I’ve read a couple of books about Tiger’s life and career, and obviously it looks like Tiger is a very different type of father than Earl.

 

What I meant was that I’m sure Charlie’s parents can see how passionate he is about Golf and clearly he’s put in a ton of time developing his game, so it looks like they must be very supportive of his Golf dreams and see how good he could be.
