There are two brands that are overlooked and I do not know if they have been mentioned; Adams and Tour Edge Exotics.  Between 2010 and 2014, when taylormade stopped producing them, Adams had some really great fairway woods.  I personally own the second to the last, XTD LS Speedline with a 70 gram kuro kage shaft.  It is a monster off the tee and a fairway finder.  The shape and color of it makes it look large at address on the tee.  I admittedly have problems hitting it off the fairway, but this wood goes crazy long for me, I average 230, but have hit it 246.  I like it off the tee on a windy day when I have to keep the ball low.  The weight is in the middle, gives me a penetrating ball flight with lots of roll out.  I need more practice with it since I recently got it this summer.  I have played around with other woods, 2016 M1, and the last Adams XTD, but this one does its job for the environment I play in.  I need to stop looking and just practice.  Tour Edge Exotics is just very easy to hit and long.  Those commercial do not lie.  I have tried a number of them and the problem is exactly that, they go too long; that is why it is not in my bag.  My friend does not carry a driver because of this reason.  Why carry a driver, when his 3 woods is more versatile?  3 woods are going  by the way side, however, it is difficult to let one go once you find one that you really like.  I do not use mine a lot since the courses I play are a little shorter, but when I play a long course I carry it along with my 5 wood. For the most part I usually play a driving iron and a 4 wood, which is a different topic all together.

If you don't mind something a bit older - Nike VRS Covert 2. Bought it off the rack with a stiff shaft. Nice sticky grip. Forgiving on mis hits (if you don;t believe me, check out Rick Shiels' review of it).

It's a rocket launcher as well - sold my TM M2 ('17) last November, as I need to find more fairways as well and found the Nike to be more than adequate.

Loved the Nike faiways. Rocked a VR Pro for a few years with the project x blue.

My buddy said it was made for me and that the lighter shafts on the fairways help.

These dickish non-responses are the worst part of GolfWrx. It's a legitimate question from the OP and a perennial question among golfers, including tour pros. But maybe Phil should stop playing around with that Original One and Bryson should ditch his 2 wood. They just need lessons. And Stenson should junk that silly 3 wood. Just keep practicing, Henrik, and one day you'll hit driver as good as @bogeypro

The problem is, I think, the too frequent "get lessons and/or practice" responses aren't generally understanding the question and are just pontificating. It should be a given that practice and lessons are helpful.

I'm interpreting OP's question as asking which current fairway wood heads excel in terms of forgiveness and off a tee. Presumably, OP is willing to sacrifice work-ability, turf interaction, appearance, etc. in addition to distance for those things. That's a reasonable ask in an equipment forum.

I know I am not hitting a wood off the deck. I have a 17* hybrid for that. So a fairway finder off the tee is my Callaway Mini Bertha 1.5. Biggest 3 wood is the most forgiving 3 wood. Sometimes it is that simple.

If I'm playing a tight course, I will take my 3 wood out, and take my JPX 900 5 wood and turn it down to 16*. Short shaft and shallower head makes the flight higher and much easier to hit straight, and then ill throw a 3 iron in there as well at 20*.
