Posting a Score for a Practice Session

I didn't play today but I did practice for about two hours. Utilized the short game area for some chipping and bunker shots, then hit a full bucket of iron shots and then a half bucket of drivers, before ending my session on the putting green with both lag putts and 4 footers

 

It was a really great practice session, weather was perfect, I felt relaxed but focused, and really was striking everything well

 

Even though I didn't play on the course, I entered a 73 into the system for my handicap (1 or 2 below my average round). I couldn't get a tee time, but I figure this is about what I would have shot had I played. A lot of pars, a few silly bogeys and a couple routine birdies

 

Do any of you guys enter scores on days you only practiced? If I don't get outside and am only able to putt indoors on carpet, I only enter a 9 hole score because an 18 hole score wouldn't feel legitimate since the weather conditions don't come in to play indoors (If I have my desk fan on, I'll sometimes call it a full round of 18).

 

Of course, if my practice session doesn't go well I don't bother entering a score because I'd like to think I would have played well on the course. Maybe I should call those days a 74 or 75

 

Is this pretty much how everyone else does it?

I just pick random players from the Tour event each week, and enter their scores for Thurs-Sun .....

I post the scores I get as I play Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12. Last week it was 18 hole scores of 62, 59, 61, and 49.

 

It was a bit of an off week for me but I always post all of my scores—even the bad ones like those over 60.

I know that I should work on my game  daily. So any day where I don't play or practice I enter a score 3 to 4 strokes worse than my index.

Hey @tungstenplug, by my calculations you owe me $20 bucks for our match. You won the front 1 up but I won the back 5 up 3 up 1 up plus the backside press and total in our $5 Nassau with auto two downs.

 

  I didn’t play either but mentally walked my course and shot 37-32.

Oh yes!!!

 

If I make one putt from 5 meters on the practice green I write myself a gross score of 65. Well, if the weather is bad only 66.

Not quite. I always enter par as that is what I would expect to score after a practice session. Isn't that what practice is for?

Who needs lessons from a coach when entering scores as you please is quicker and easier. I'm going to be single digit in no time.
