How do we differentiate between good and bad players, every hole every player has a good birdie opportunity?

 

It's a bit demoralizing to see every player and her sister at the top!

Hmmm, they've flipped the nines, and changed the starting hole since 2019. The 1st hole used to be the 17th. The new 18th is now the old 16th.

Hmmmmm, I liked 18, it's a nice legit eagle chance for everyone, can shake things up on a Sunday.  Brooke mentioned they made many changes to the course.  She mentioned she can no longer take the aggressive lines she used use on certain holes around here.

Yes, it's a good week to be striking the ball well!

 

As the leaders have a blast, only 37 out of 71 players are under par.

It would seem Min Lee likes being at the top of the leaderboard, good for her, I like too see the people who get dirty so to speak trying to make it in the game have some success after putting in the work.

I made it to the 15th green. Jennifer Song's group is on the green. Lydia and Jin Young are on the adjacent 14th. I'll pick up their group on the 15th and follow them to the finish. 

 

Looks like Mel dropped out? Lydia and Jin Young are playing as a twosome.

This course is one of the easier ones on tour, probably only out done by the cancelled event in Green Bay.  They do skew easier most weeks but this one is sorta of an outlier of really easy in the rotation.

Her road manager is walking with her, along with the good doctor. He and I have had a good conversation. We were just chatting about her DQ.

Cydney can really hit them out there. She outdrove In Gee on the 12th by a good 40 yds.
