Looks like a long iron. Considering the i210 in there it’s likely an i525 proto?

I'm a gigantic Ping homer and for the first time in a long time I've put a different brand in my bag. Went from a G410 LST to a G425 LST and now game the Titleist TSI3. I honestly think I'd have to rank these drivers Tsi3, 410, then the 425. Felt the distance fell of substantially from the 410 to the 425. Tsi3 is longest I've played and just as forgiving as Ping.

 

That being said, game the i210's and will not replace these until the next gen come out. Once they're out, I'll give them some time on the market and test them before transitioning to them.

I told the shop owner to order mine on their pre-order.  If they are a definite improvement  I prefer not to wait 6 months to get them. I don't see many changes in the supply chain for a while so I would rather flip them at a slight loss rather than wait.

Yes they are but will offer the i210's again once they catch up on their current orders.  Once the 230's are offered I would guess the i210's will still be offered until inventory is depleted.

I went and hit the i210 today. I really struggled with the offset. Hopefully next model has a little less.

those would be called the i59.  Unlikely the I series would reduce offset, as they have been pretty consistent since at least the i20.

Thanks for the response. I59 are a little tiny for me. I500 doesn’t have much offset. Why wouldn’t they keep it competitive with that?

I believe that Ping views the I2x as the spiritual successors to the Eye2, which was their players CB, which has offset.  I have no insider information, just an observer of Ping products since the Eye 2.

They have a decent amount of tour players who play i210. I have a hard time believing they love offset. 
for me I was never a huge fan. I need a little more spin on my irons and was thinking these might be a great club. Hit some yesterday. Liked everything except the offset.
