DIY almost done to run the BLP. Just researching for the sides/top (probably will use black canvas), a 11.5 stimp putting green turf and corner wedge foams. Big upgrade for me coming from white PVC. 
 

My wife is happy that it doesn’t look like a shower curtain anymore and we turned the family room into a movie theater / golf hitting bay / big game event screen.
 

It’s now probably the most we’ve watched TV shows and movies in this room. Justified! Happy wife = Happy life 😂

Worked great on pitches too, which means short game practice in the simulator is not simulated, it’s real.

 

Awesome news on the short game.  That is one aspect of my game I hope to improve upon this year and sounds like the BLP can really help in this area (next to actually goes to the practice area at the course)  as it is accurate.

Nice setup.  I’m still using a Mevo+ for my LM.  My setup is using part of my garage.  I’m using the Net Return v2 home version and a 13’ big moss putting matt with some rubber tiles underneath of it to transition over the expansion joints better.  I also paired it up with a Fiberbuilt hitting matt.  I have no issues hitting any club in the bag.  It’s been great for practice so far.  Looking forward to eventually getting a BLP to dial in my wedges better.

Foresight recommends using only white golf balls not sure if the reflection off other colors doesn't come through clearly

i started up my BLP.  Scanned the QR, just signed up for Basic since it says i have 30 days of gold (it says 29 days left).  But when I try to log into FSX Pro is stays "No License Found".  Since i have 30 days of gold license i should have one, but i am not exactly sure how to activate it?  After a few hours i am about ready to just sign up for gold for the year if it will end this torture.

I have my mat on a 4x8’ sheet of thick plywood framed in with 2x4s  all around (except for where my swing path goes) and it held it in place well enough for the skytrak, but I think I’ll try the recommended gorilla tape and see how that works.

Did you connect the BLP to the home WiFi to confirm registration?

So interesting it mentions this. 

I click subscription/trial, then select my device 

Then i will click input password, which only asks for a password and i have tried FSSPORTS and my FSPRO passoword and neither work.  When i try to just log into FSPro that is when i get the i dont have a subscription message. I have tried on my phone and ipad thus far.  Aprroxmiately 275,000 times on both

I had taken my desktop apart waiting for new GPU, but i am going to put it back together to see if easier to do on there.

Update tried this on desktop and it immediately recognized my FX account!  Oof wish i would have started with that

Who did you get enclosure and screen from? Looks like a great setup.

Thanks! So I got the hitting screen from ebay here. Really happy with it and was about $250.

For the enclosure, I got EMT (metal tubings 10 feet x 1" thickness) from Home Depot at $18/piece. I bought a tube cutter for $20 on Amazon. I got the fittings (corner pieces) from Amazon for about $130. Hope that helps.

Its your FSX Live password it wants inputted.

 

Delete the FSX Pro app from your iPhone and try again in your iPad.

Only one mobile device in addition to PC I believe is allowed.

I went with Carl’s premium impact screen. Used roller blind parts and a galvanized pipe to make it retractable so I can park my car inside as well.

Balboa - Do you mind sharing those roller blind parts, maybe link?  I’ve been trying to find a cheaper way to build a retractable screen.  Get idea.

I keep getting this each time I try to log in on my iPad. It works just fine on my laptop when connected with cable but the program doesn’t perform very well on there. I can only use it in 2D mode.

Delete FSX Pro from any other mobile device (iPhone).

Then restart on the iPad.

I took a 1-1/2” galvanized pipe and popped on the following pats from Roll Ease. Make sure to get the heavy duty brackets as well. This works really well

In case anyone wants to know, impact tape works great with the device, while getting club data at the same time.

IMO the problem w/ spray is that it transfers to the impact screen for those of us indoors.

@whumber I drilled holes through the pipe and zip tied them to the grommets on the screen. You can see the holes in the picture below. This works extremely well.

If you only run an iPad can you only operate the practice mode?  Any courses at all, or does that need a PC?
