Bushnell Launch Pro Device with Foresight

Anybody get this yet? I’ve only had it happen once before and just right now. Was thinking it can’t handle my swing speed that it causes an error 🤣 but seriously, has anyone seen this before?

I have as well as a C13 error. 

 

Not sure what it means but it went away after I turned the device off and on again.

The good ole' restart. Yes, works for me too. My parents are in their late 70s. Text me all the time that their computer or phone isn't working. Reset FTW! Hoping this isn't a bigger error

It was weird because everything was working perfectly at the time it happened. 

Unit has not  missed a shot however sice day 1. 

 

Was able to use FSX Pro on the iPad easily tonight to compare spins on two 60 degree wedges.

 

DId you guys get the swing catalyst email? Coming to GC3/BLP!

Ya I had two in the last 4-5 days.  Second one this afternoon.  Played 36 tonight and no errors.  It’s a little strange as I read it’s a boot error or startup issue but happens during middle of a session.

Thanks! Thank God. It's not just me...it's you (too) 😆 Quick reset but hopefully nothing nagging.

I’ve had it a handful of times. An online search for generally B4 codes are usb issues. Commonly referred to as “hot plug” issues. Are you connected via USB? I’m considering Ethernet cables if it happens again

Watching a TXG video last night, they did a quad vs trackman comparison and mentioned issues the trackman has. They stated that to be fair foresight can exaggerate the carry distance on low spin drives. 
 

Then today I get 3 drives that registered 0 spin. Man they were RIGHT!

B type errors are related to the GC3 operating system failing to upload properly.  A restart should clear it, if it continues they say it's most likely a hardware issue that needs repair 🙁

What’s $1000 a year?  Top package is $349 USD that I can see.

 

I’d love to get a two camera setup but the cost for the compatible cameras seems steep.  Anyone know what a pressure plate costs from swing catalyst?

That’s an incredible carry. Might want to consider the long drive championship in the future 😁

I was  just looking at the SwingCatalyst webpage and for LM support they were listing at $100/month or $1000/year. Maybe it's cheaper through FS?

 

EDIT: Ok, finally found the links on the FS website. Way cheaper through them.

Per Foresight, 24 inches. Yes! You read it correctly. 24”. I was amazed when I heard this also. To prevent bounce back, you may want 8 feet.

Just a thought, can you cut the ceiling joist in garage and raise them up 12”? You’d only have to do the area you swing in.

I think there's a bit more to it than that if you ever plan to pass an inspection in the future. You can cut the joists but you'd also need to scab something a scissor truss, or something similar, onto the original to maintain the structural integrity.

You made the right choice. You get all the data parameters of the Quad at a fraction of the cost.

 

You got a fantastic deal.  The GC2 is just as accurate as a GC3 and when I owned my GC2/HMT unit, I found it to be 100% reliable.  The only consumable items on the GC2 will be the battery and the flash (both of which will be cheap to replace without engaging Foresight) and if the LM is in good working order and taken care of, will last you a lifetime!

While the GC2 lacks the sexy form factor of the GC3, being established tech it just works. I turn it on, hit balls, turn it off. Zero issues. The thing is built like a tank too.
