I just looked it up and the H20 more looks like the X11 with the wings and different sight lines while the X9.5 doesn't have the wings.

So are people actually gaming these? Or are these purchased for collection?

 

That H20 is perfect, I just never see them in WITB pics or for sale. Wondering if its going to be the same thing for the Triple Black.

I have 3 rounds in with my Triple Black x 9.5.. another 3 rounds coming this weekend.. 😄

If I had to guess I'd say 50% flip them, 40% "collect" them and flip them later, and 10% use them.  4000 were released, which is 4 times as many as the H19 and 2.66 times as many as the H20.

35” , loft bent 2 strong, changed weights to 20 gr and grip to a Lamkin DE cord

 

Sold the other putters in rotation and going with this one alone

I managed to pick up a 33" and its my new gamer.  Actually shelved my workshop custom 11.5 for it.  I love this putter.

This putter was impossible to get in Canada. Sold out in a minute or something like that. Glad to see people here actually gaming it. Enjoy!

Gaming mine. Really like it thus far. A little less forgiving due to size from the JT phantom. I would happily trade mine for the H20 though. I like the alignment on the insert rather than the three dots right on the top.

Same I’d say. It’s a great, great putter. It seems like everyone is trying to flip and make money off it rather than play it, but it is fantastic.

I like it a lot better than the 5.5 FWIW. Feels more solid. A lot of the fang putters don’t feel as solid as the ones that have connection on the back. I think the middle section really cuts down on vibrations. It also sits on the ground perfectly. Not open or closed. Alignment is about perfect in my eyes too. It’s a rare Scotty limited release where they just got everything right.

Totally agree and I am not a Cam fan at all- to much hype money etc for  a piece of metal etc.

I respect and admire him for handcraft and marketing - I mean we are a bunch (big one) that falls for it 🤣

I came away with almost the exact feels. It's just solid and I really don't know why, but it feels so much better then my 5.5. The alignment is bang on and sits perfectly.

The little “calipers” thing on the back and the great looking topline bombs just make this thing so easy for me to align compared to a 5.5 or 7. It’s just a great visual that’s a shame they aren’t using on the regular line that’s coming. It shouldn’t be a special release.

What a solid looking putter. My buddy had one and sold it for a great price. They just look phenomenal!

Ok just received my SC Triple black LE 9.5 putter.

1st impression:

It does look a lot smaller than the 11 or 12 as it doesn’t have those wings. It could also be the black color.

REALLY NICE PUTTER TO LOOK AT AND STROKE.

LOVE the black head, shaft and grip. Very stealthy and will go well with my Stealth driver.

‘The three red dots… very nice.

‘I wasn’t sure about the shaft angle but since I like a slight arc, I think this will work great for me.

‘I am probably in the minority but this baby is not sitting home on a shelf, she is getting played as much as possible.

‘Overall, well worth it but will know in the coming weeks as I try my black widow out.

Just played my first round with my black widow and two things came to light for me. I had bought some 20gm weights in black just in case it felt to light with the 10gm’s but not the case.

1- Between the 3 red dots and the so called calipers, the alignment is great, especially on shorter putts.

2- The unique shaft bend works great for me as it keeps the putter flat during my slightly arced stroke. The feel is great too. I was thinking of replacing the skinny pistol grip but will now wait as I think it may affect balance and feel.

so far very impressed with it and like it much better than my Betti Innovai 6.0 CS. Will probably sell it at some point.

Just "eventually" convinced my local pro to part with ths.  Had a spider in the bag for a while, probably putted best I have in a long time but couldn't come to grips with the insert.  Fast forward - Triple black scotty hit the bag, all the benefits of a spider, as far as forgivness goes, but much better feel, IMO, (once you dial in the pace, the coating seems to make the roll a lot softer than my current Squareback 2 which has been great).  GReat pace conrol, good forgiveness, this is my gamer for a long while (and I have most of the special select range in the shed).  It's a tragedy that some (most?) of the best Scottys get sucked up by people wantng to meke money on them when they should be gamed.  As a sufferer of the dreaded Y....S (he who cannot be named) this has me standing over the ball with the most confidence I've had in several years.  Thank you Scotty (and Dave, vendor and Dan, putting coach).
