Adidas Golf 2022

Don’t normally get a glimpse of the follow years gear but I’ve just seen some the adidas 2023 catalog.  The shoes, bit ugly in my opinion.  New colours for tour 360 but same design.  We see ZG23’s.  Updated ZG21.  I love the ZG21, the new ones look a bit naff in my opinion.  
 

clothes look okay, big selection as usual.  A few nice items in there.  I will start a new thread in due course but I think it’s far too early to start a 2023 thread in June 2022🙈.

 

in the mean time, I’ve added screen shots on shoes.  I think it’s important people know what’s coming.  You might prefer this seasons designs to next years and be advised to buy now rather than next year.

The ZG 23 will be a game changer for Adidas golf, and the new Code Chaos will be pure.

ZG23! That's so long from now and it's so hard to get 21's because they're out everywhere. I was hoping for something sooner.

 

Agreed on their looks though, the 21's definitely look better. However, I'm buying 23's no matter what they look like because I liked the 21 shoe that much.

 

The new Code Chaos reminds me of a late 90's early 00's Nike basketball shoe.

I'm a little bummed that there's no mention of the Solarthon.  The Solarmotion in the pics is not anything like the Solarthon.  I found them on Adidas' France website.  It has a mostly Lightstrike midsole was a thick Boost heel... but when they flare out the Boost in the heel like that, the Boost is ends up being hard.  Similar to the Ultraboost 21/22.  All I want is the Ultraboost 19 or 20 with some extra tread.  Solarthon was perfect for comfort.  Adequate for grip and really the only thing it needed was a change to the upper.   

 

But you never know... the CodeChaos 22 wasn't mentioned in the 2022 summer catalogue, so there's still hope of a surprise launch of the Solarthon 2.  Heck there might even be hope for the non-existent ZG22.  It feels weird they would just skip a year.  Especially when many of their pros chose to wear this shoe over other offerings.  You'd think they would come out with more CWs.

They just cant put some changeable cleats on the 360s can they

Finally, the CodeChaos low top BOA makes it over here.  But why the $40 up charge as compared to the $10 up charge on S2G BOA and $20 up charge on the ZG23 BOA?

It's only on Adidas' France site.  Weirdly, there's no description and the shoe is not searchable on their site, but clicking on that link will go to the Solarmotion page (found from Google).  The CodeChaos 22 was on the Canadian website (I posted a few pics), but now it's gone.  Not sure why Adidas is sneak launching some shoes early in some regions... or if those regions just screwed up the release schedule.  

 

Here's some pics of the Solarmotion if you can't access the France site.  To me it looks like a re-imagined spike-less ZG23.  Same concept of Lightstrike midsole with a Boost heel.  Will it have the Insight insole though?  The listed price is 150 Euros.

I am seeing the Codechaos 22 on the US adidas website now. Show's release for 6/24. I think I might pull the trigger on these based on how much I love the 21.

Man, the BOA’s are really fugly…couldn’t tell from the catalog pics.  The original BOA low version was much better looking.

Looks like I’ll just wait for the ZG23 BOA.

Yeah I don't think I like the BOA at all. I like the grey 22's though.

Guess not..... some of us don't want basketball shoes and sneakers to be the only choice. I'll be wearing my 18' to 21' Tour 360's for the foreseeable future.

i got the new codechaos early. by far the best shoe ive ever worn. boost seems softer than other models. and the white/silver colorway is too clean

How would you compare them to the original codechaos?
