how do you find the forgiveness? I’m in tc-201 right now but not in love with the shafts. I may go for something more forgiving vs a reshaft because they add up !

Respect !!!

I don’t deserve that respect lol.  My game is respectable I guess, but I seriously can’t get them out of my bag.  My iron game isn’t even strong, just adequate enough with some really good and some head scratchers but it evens out.  I just haven’t hit anything better in years, and I have tried.

There is actually a serious problem with these that I learned from having them in the bag over 8 years.  Once you are accustomed to these irons (and god forbid you love them like I do) addressing all other irons looks and feels wrong initially.  It is hard to explain but somehow what most people would consider to be by far the most intimidating set I have is by far the set I have the most confidence in standing over.

I just got fitted into the cb302 and have played a few rounds with them. I am not a very consistent ball striker (15ish handicap) and I am working on a complete swing change and I have noticed toe strikes are extremely unforgiving on distance. My toe strike misses are nearly off the grooves and I generally will lose around 50 yards with a mid iron on a strike like that. The sweet spot strikes feel absolutely incredible though.

I just got into my first Miura, KM700. Played a few rounds and loving them so far. I am nowhere near a good player to player them but I am still not playing any worse, if anything better in fact. Hope this will help me play better.

I tried MC502, CB302, TC 101 and KM700.. for the first two times it appeared TC101 gave me the best numbers. But when I want to pull the trigger, KM 700 somehow showed better numbers. The look also grew on me and  was convinced that KM700 would allow me to grow into them better.

On good hits I do not lose any distance even though the lofts are weaker than my previous P790 and PXG Gen5 (still have it). #7 loft 33 compare to 30.5 on those other clubs. Mishits not very punishing either, both distance and direction wise, I would say it is quite forgiving. I am only playing 18-20 HC, so cant be much of a help here.

This is a very underestimated notion. I cannot look down at a chunky, offset, player improvement without thinking how I need to manipulate it or fix its weirdness. Can't just swing and think '"good or bad, at least it will just take my input" I love looking at Miuras, and I strike them well enough, often enough, to never want to change.

Once your family, there is no getting out!

Have 502 with oban ct115s and 201/302 combo with fuji pro 115tx. Love both of them but mainly game 201/302 combo due to forgiveness. 502s are sweet and shaft combo feels amazing but mis-shot off to toe gives me too much punishment.

Played my first round of 70s with 201/302 and love performance and forgiveness.

I enjoy the TC-201. I’ve tried different shaft setups but the Modus 120 seem to suit these well for me.

I’m surprised at how many 201s I see for sale on the BST. So I guess this isn’t most people’s favorite?

I've said this since day 1.

I wanted to like them.

They didn't hold a candle to the CB-57 or CB-301.

They stunk! Super high MOI for a Miura. No distance. No spin control. No curvature. No flighting.

They went straight, high, and nowhere. LOL.

And this comes from a "Miura guy".

Well thanks I guess!! I have a few sets of club (LOL) including: 1957 small blades 2-P with K grind 50,56,60. After reading this thread last night I decided to search for some 1957 CBs and low and behold I found heads on ebay that I snagged for $500. Now I'll build them to match my small blades and maybe play the 4-5 cb as blended set.

Question: the small blades play .25 in short in length; does anyone have the recommended build specs of the CBs??

Chiming in after a few years of playing and testing. I cannot knock CB1007 YGrind out of the bag (Cb 57 in US).  I would place CB1006 then 1008 next. Blades in the 5003 line are incredible. I use Special Edition YGrind type-D for 8-PW on occasion, when I'm swinging well. KM700 would make the top 5 as well. I would put MC501s on the very nice list when I'm playing well but the always gave a more harsh miss for me than the others.

CB301/2 are nice but just feel different. TCs are boring as previously stated, though I use a TC201 4i for a boring flight 200+ yard club. I have never owned Zeros, but I think that's the only major release I haven't.

The early CBs are the best i have ever played and a few blade releases. Can hit any shot and my miss is a low groove that losses 10 yards but stays straight. Like @EaglesGolf99 I'm a Miura lover, but in the brand I definitely play favorites.

The forgiveness is top notch.  Easily the same as my old Apex's.  I re-shafted again with Fujikura Axiom 105s.  I have now blended with Km 700s and both are very very forgiving.  Between these 2 the 302s are a little more forgiving but not much.
