What's going on here Mizuno? You better not be going down the callaway route with tour exclusive clubs.

What in the world? Is that photoshopped? And what's with the little (seemingly DYI) weight port in the toe?

The fli hi is the best current utility out there followed by the Srixon zx. But the face design on the fli hi creates a strong flight and a soft responsive feel.

Interesting you say that.   I just got my Fli-Hi 3 this week.  Been gaming the Srixon ZX 3 since it came out.  I have my ZX bent 1 degree strong at 19*.  Anyways, I verified the Fli-Hi was at 19* and proceeded to hit both side by side on my monitor.  The ZX is faster than the Fli-Hi by 2-3mph.  I bent the Fli-Hi 1* stronger to 18* and then they matched up for ballspeed.  I hit the Fli-Hi a little higher so have decided to give it a run in the bag.  I prefer the looks of the ZX though by a long shot.

The ZX looks good for sure. For me the Fli Hi was faster. Not tons, but I hit it really well. The ZX is clean I agree it looks really good.

Or it’s as simple as you swing differently than I do and something about the design of the zx compliments your swing better..

No sir...better and my swing have never been mentioned in the same sentence until right now!  😂

Back to the thread...

Have hit the Fli-Hi over the past week into my net and have enjoyed it.  Will be making it's maiden appearance on the course in about an hour and a half from now.  Looking forward to my tee shot on the 7th hole with it...just hoping I make pure contact and don't chunk the first real swing of consequence with it!!

Played inaugural round with it Saturday and another round today.  Unfortunately my tee shots on #7 the past two days have been poor strikes by me and I didn't get the full results (but they were straight and in play).  Used it for one other tee shot into a strong headwind on a par 3 where I had to club up three clubs.  The strike was better there and I was pin high but unfortunately off the green.  I have no doubt it will perform as well as my Srixon ZX 3i once I can place some good swings on it eventually.

I play -- and much prefer -- graphite, just because clubs that long in steel feel too heavy to me. I did go with the 90g RDX shaft, however, which slightly splits the difference between stock (80g) and steel.

I added a FliHi 4 to the top of my 223/25 set up and have been impressed.  Not terribly forgiving, but not sure that this is the club to go to if that is what you need.  I am getting as much height and distance as I got from a similarly lofted hybrid, but have found it to be higher in spin, so helps to hold greens.

My only issue right now is it definitely draws for me.  More than any club in my bag, so I am really having to adjust my aim.  It is especially tough if I am on a tree lined hole, with trees on the right, as I cannot get it to not tail off.

That's funny, my natural shot shape is a draw and I can't hit the 4 Fli-Hi left to save my life. Every shot fans out slightly to the right.

Anyone compare or have a chance to hit both the Pro Fli Hi 2 iron against the Pro 225 2 iron?  Or 3?

Just started gamine the 225 and really like them. Have been talking myself into a driving iron. Personally I launch the 4/5 irons lows in the 225 which normally I launch everything to the moon so has been pleasant.

looking for a tee option that I can get out 245-260. Currently carrying the 4 iron 225 or so. I would prefer more consistent numbers off tee vs the big ball every once in awhile.  Thanks!!

Just a hotmelt port that has been drilled into the head. Cam Smith has one in his 3-iron located in a different spot (lower towards the sole).

Question about the stock 80g RDX shaft: Mizuno shows the 6.0 as being mid-high trajectory, but True Temper shows the shaft as being low trajectory. Could this stock version be tweaked a little? The weights do match on the two websites. I had the stock version in a 2 iron and recently broke the shaft. I really like the club, but I'm looking for a flatter flight. Wondering if going RDX 90 would make any difference, since Mizuno lists that as low trajectory.

Mizuno is incorrect. Go with the TT specs as there are no special models for the clubmakers.

Thanks. Does anyone have suggestions on a shaft that would lower flight? Maybe just tip the RDX 80, go 6.5, or go to a 90? I don’t think any fitters near me have a setup that allows you to try different shafts in the fli hi.
