Haywood 2022 CB/MB irons

Still super interested in these. I swear I saw some pics of some of the pre ordered ones that got sent to customers. Can’t seem to find them now. Anyone have their set yet and care to chime in on them?

I'm with you here, Nev! Unfortunately I don't have an extra info for you, but also patiently waiting on more first-impressions and reviews. Getting re-fit today for length/loft/lie after a drastic swing change and would love to pick up some CB's on presale.

I' nearing the end of my swing lessons so a fit and new irons is on the agenda very soon!

I've got 4 rounds on the MB's and they are amazing. The CB's are supposed to be here next month.

Granted my blade experience is limited to what I've owned, but right now these are proving to be my perfect iron. The sound, the feel, they have a little bit of offset and the blade isn't too short. They look great in the bag, they are perfect at address, and if you know what you are doing these will let you do it.

CBs arrived this week.  Haven’t hit them yet, but they are aesthetically stunning.  Build was spot on, and they feel great on garage swings.  Contrasted the PW against an MP68 counterpart.

They have an odd rounded toe which makes it hard to like them.

They really knocked it out of the park with the finish and the basic look, especially the CBs.  The rounded toe is certainly unique, I think one would get used to it pretty quickly.

So very helpful! Man they do look good! Really thinking about a combo set 5-7 cb 8-pw mb.

Hopefully someone near Calgary Alberta will get a set that I can ogle before I decide. Lol

The cbs look very similar to the Bridgestone J15 cbs.

At least they have a lefty option in the mb👍 The j15 mb were gorgeous.

That’s one reason I’m looking at these, the other is I’m Canadian and the third is my girlfriend calls me El Cheapo and these are less than big OEM’s. 😂

Here are the 5-7.  5 iron comparison to MP68.  Appropriately longer blade length with slightly thicker sole and top line.  Essentially, everything I was looking for.

Seriously, I got both for less than a set of Taylormade P7MB's. The P7TW doesn't come in lefty, either. 

 

My CB's should be here next week.

I only have 3 rounds on the MB's so far, but they are glorious. I might get a round in tomorrow morning before a week a rain. I have been playing irons only because they are just so fun to hit. Thwack! Such a solid sound with perfect feedback.

I have pretty firm brand loyalty to New Level for my irons due to their high quality products, pricing, excellent communication and customer service. However - I'm definitely interested in trying a combo set out of these. They just look SO dang good! Looking forward to hearing more reviews on them!

I ordered a set of the Signature heads and they’re stunning.  I can only imagine how the MB/CB combo line is.

Just got a tracking number for my CB's that should also include my lefty 56 (and my hat, too). By Friday, so should have them out first thing Saturday.

For sure. I might put both in my bag and do a head to head round of 9 holes irons only. The first few rounds I did with the MB's were like that and was awesome.
