Well, Minjee was one of my 3 picks with Hataoka and Thitikul. I had a hunch about Minjee - she's really hit a good place in her career. A win here would give her a lot of confidence going forwards. There may be good things to come this season.

I kind of know what you mean. Neither comes across as very natural in the media - they keep the mask up. Kind of smiley but bland. I don't know what's behind the mask and they probably don't want to reveal their private personalities. Maybe there's not that much personality to reveal. Maybe there is. Who knows. 

 

I can't imagine either of them as golf commentators - I guess that says something.

I have zero issues with them, but it does ruffle my feathers when for some reason everyone thinks Jessica is on the same level as Nelly. She is not, never has been, and likely won't be.

I remember a couple of seasons ago Jessica saying "Nelly is the sister with the talent" or some such thing. She knew that years ago and was quite up-front with it.

It would surprise me if anyone shoots a 65, it appears the course is starting to play a little firmer, hopefully that trend continues tomorrow along with some nasty pin locations.

Should be good tomorrow. Minjee's swing looks smooth like a child leisurely swinging on a backyard swing.

Nice to see Mina steady the ship after a couple of bogeys on the back 9 especially when Minjee was shooting birdies during that same stretch.  3 shots behind is still within reach and it might help Mina chasing rather than being chased. 

 

Nice birdies on 18 for Jin Young and Ingrid. 

 

 Hoping for some wind tomorrow like they had this morning so that it can make things more interesting going down the stretch.

It’s not that uncommon of an opinion really. I’m super impressed with Nelly’s swing. I could watch her swing a club all day long. It’s unreal how good her swing is considering how little she (at least claims to) work on it. I also like her demeanor and I’ve seen her recover from some pretty gnarly situations, very DJ-esque. I don’t watch much of the post-round or off course stuff, maybe that’s to my advantage in this case?

May be time to get back on the Minjee bandwagon.  She's always been one of my favourites since she came out on tour.  Hitting it great but wasn't sure if her putter would hold up this week.  Hope she holds on and this can propel her forward a bit more (even more so than Evian last year).

Her ballstriking has always been been top notch. It's her putter that's let her down. Looks like she may have gotten over her putting woes.
