The cut seems to be bouncing back and forth between +2 and +3. Could go either way with ten players on the course with those scores. 

 

If the cut stays at +2, I count 17 previous major winners that will miss the cut. Oof.

Yeah it's messing with my emotions. They are banking on Beth Wu and Tiffany Chan shooting poorly on the USGA site. But I would be bummed if no D Kang, Bianca, In Gee, Grace etc over the weekend

The USGA needs to toughen up the course. Whether the cut is +2 or +3, it's shaping up to be a regular tour event. The cut at Palos Verdes was +2, and +3 at Wilshire.

Minjee is a sweetheart. Lexi has a little comfort dog named Leo, she should hire someone follow her around the course carrying Leo. Having Leo close by would help Lexi's mental state.

Agree.  Doesn't feel like your typical US Open.  So many hitting less than driver off the tee.  If there is no rough, you should at least make the greens super firm.  The rain coming in will help the players.

Hmmm. Just noticed that Minjee's ballmarker has 'M J Lee' on it. Wonder how long she's had it. She's gone by Minjee her entire professional career. I bet it was a gift from her parents to remind her that she'll always be Min Jee to them. 🙂

A bit off topic, but a few years ago I was watching a Korn Ferry Tour event that was in the Bahamas. The wind was really blowing and the cut line was +11.

A handful of KLPGA and JLPGA players made the cut, led by So Mi Lee, Sakura Koiwai, Yuna Takagi, and Mao Saigo. 

 

Pia made the cut from the LET. She's going to have a nice career.
