Best 14-Way Stand Bag with Full-Length Dividers

Thanks for the response.   The TGW website (which has very detailed info about bags) says all 14 dividers are full-length, so that's what I'm going off.    I tried a Titleist Hybrid 14.   It was a great bag, but a little more bulky than I'm hoping for.

It does not have full length dividers. I had one and returned it. I went back to the Nike Air Hybrid. Not sure if the Air Hybrid 2 still has full legnth dividers.

I have the Sun Mountain H2no 14 way stand bag. Light, waterproof and has full-length dividers that don't stick at all with midsize grips.

Well, you were right, WillyL - the BR-DX only has "a few" full-length dividers.   Pretty misleading the way Mizuno describes the bag on their site.   The search continues, I guess.

One thing to keep in mind is although the nike air hybrid is sharp and a really nice bag it's pretty heavy compared to most carry bags.

After years of struggling with this for even the best of the 14-ways I had I have ditched them in favor of a 5 way with a putter well for this exact reason and honestly I couldn't be happier. I really think that even with full length dividers on a 14 way this is a problem due to the narrow opening size of the individual  chambers.

I had the Sun mountain 4.5 14 way for 1 round. It was the most uncomfortable bag I’ve ever carried. Got a Nike air hybrid and loved it but really wanted a putter well. So enters the Titleist 14 hybrid. I’ll be walking my first round with it Sunday morning. So far I really like the setup. Definitely a little lighter than the Nike.

The mizuno is junk - skip it.  Or you can have mine...legs dont deploy and it tips...plus constant club tangle.

According to the Titleist support chat people, the Hybrid 14 does NOT have 14 full-length dividers.

I have the 2022 14 way hybrid bag and it does in fact have 14 individual dividers. I have had zero issues with club tangle. It’s a great bag!

Well, now I'm really confused.   I started another chat on the Titleist site.   This time, the support person told me that both the 2022 and the 2023 model have full-length dividers for all 14 slots.    But I saw some reviews on Amazon that said the dividers don't run the full length.

I think if the players III was too much tangle and the hybrid 14 was too bulky your only other options are Sun mountain 2.5 or 4.5 14 way. I’ve been on this same hunt for a few years and I think that’s the direction I’m going next.

I had the hybrid 14 and the dividers are full length they just aren’t sealed to the bottom like a Sun mountain. There’s like an inch open at the bottom but nothing to make the grips rub and cause club tangle like a hoofer that only has dividers  2/3 of the way down.

I have the Sun Mountain C130S, it has been the best bag I've ever owned, 15 Way (yes 15 way) full length as well, no snags at all, many pockets and of course super sturdy stands, love it...

That's my experience as well, mine is also a 2022 bag. I like everything about that bag.

Does anyone have the TaylorMade FlexTech Crossover bag?    I can't tell whether the 14 dividers run the full length of the bag (or at least most of the way).   Thanks.

Yes, I have the '22 model and it does not have full length dividers. It has 4 sectional dividers for each row. Despite this, I have not had too much of an issue with club tangle using standard grips.

I'm at a loss for why these golf companies don't include full-length dividers on their 14-way bags.   It can't add more than a couple ounces to the bag, and if it adds $20 to the cost of the bag, I can't imagine people wouldn't pay that.

Well, I found a 2022 version of the Nike Hybrid 14, and it's perfect.   Not super-light, but light enough; full length dividers - clubs don't stick at all; not bulky, but enough pockets for everything I need to carry; comfortable strap system for carrying.   After 3 days, I'm very happy with it.

Glad I found this thread - is there an updated, general consensus for best 14 way divider for someone who exclusively carries?  Have been using a Sun Mountain 4.5 LS which has been amazing for a few years but it is starting to fall apart.  Would going to the 2.5+ be a downgrade in any fashion?  I am looking to downsize a bit if possible...I would otherwise be completely happy buying an updated 4.5 LS.  Thanks in advance!

I think you will find what you are looking for here but the general consensus I have seen from a few sites is that if you carry and want something a bit lighter the 2.5+ is a good choice. If the bag being lighter is not a concern then the 4.5 is the way to go between the two.

If your main use is to pair it with a push cart, Bag Boy Chiller stand bag is my rec, and even better, if you have a Bag Boy cart with the top-lok feature. If just for carrying, no go for this bag; a little too heavy.

I have a Sun Mountain C-130S. Never carried with it. I have a 3.5 for that. But it’s my go to push cart or riding bag. FULL 15 way dividers so you can throw in your alignment sticks when you go to the range.

I have this hot z really great bag and has full length dividers, and pretty cheap too!
